Remember Nicole ... the friend of the foster parents who made the public appeals on their behalf during the first few weeks ... with supportive partner/friend John (I believe that is his name)? I think she stepped up very well, and did a fabulous job of putting across the anguish of the foster parents, and added a very personal touch to the appeals.
They were obviously trying to overcome the FACS restrictions, and do what they could to have a personal representative speak very publicly and openly for the foster parents.
I can't see that anything else was needed, at the time, in this regard. And as time went on, the foster parents gained permission to do their TV interviews and appealed as well. Then, finally, Karlie did her TV interview, and her own appeal.
Brendan has done no public appeal that I am aware of, at any time. I am sure that MSM would have welcomed him to appeal for his son, when he was available, and likely paid him for it, too, as they did with Karlie.
Nicole's pics are in this link.
William's family have remained out of public view but a friend, Nicole, has made several appeals for help. She said while William enjoyed being outdoors he had no tendency to wander off.
'He is a happy, cheeky, adventurous little boy who doesn’t wander off,' Nicole said. 'William is pretty much always happy. He was happy to play in the garden and be with his family.'
