Just to add .... in my own experience, parents and carers are usually invited to school events like Jump for Heart. More people to watch and support the children, more people to donate funds to Jump for Heart (which is what the event is all about - raising money for the Heart Foundation).
So, to hold the school assembly at 11:30am instead of its usual time would make sense. Parents and carers could attend the assembly to support their children, then immediately attend the Jump for Heart event afterwards, without having to leave the school after assembly and return again an hour or so later for the Jump for Heart event.
