Why take a photo and not show it to anyone? Was it for his file or his own personal use?

It was for the " story book" .......

My mind is going straight to that photo of William in his Spider-Man suit that was slightly blurry that featured on the wall in case headquarters . Was so much speculation about that photo . Could this be the photo taken by the staff member ???

Agree with you all. Creepy as!!!! I don't care how close he thought he was to those children, he was a staff member who's job was to check on their well being, not employed to take photo's. Ughhh!!!!

I’d imagine he’d take photos to document seeing William safe and healthy.

It was the actual question that pricked my ears.

Two edged for me.... maybe the question was to ask if it was going to be shown to someone they had concerns about Williams privacy or safety.

No, it's been stated several times that the FM took that photo on the morning he vanished.

Private memories

I don’t see the photo as a problem as it was documenting the actual sighting of a healthy child in question.

It was the concerning question for me.

The background of that photo didn't appear to be at foster family home. Strange wallstickers and stuff. Wasn't bio family access at Ryde shopping centre? Where else would William be when the FACS worker photo was taken?

I’m not talking about the photo on the balcony . I’m talking about the one in the strike force room that was pinned on the board. There was so much speculation here on whether it was a screen capture of a skype call etc.

I think TBL means that weird photo hanging on the board at SFR headquarters.

If that is all it was then ok. But if that is not all it was then it's not ok. Very strange to ask if pic had been shown to anyone else. If pic was on FACS file then staff members would see it as part of the process. If kept personally then why was pic taken and kept personally. Imo a step way beyond too far.

I did. I actually just searched for photo which was widely available early on but I can’t locate it now

When access visits are organised do foster parents deliver the child or a FACS worker,

No, the photo of WT on the Strikeforce investigation wall in the spiderman suit, not the photo taken on the morning he disappeared

After adoption process is complete do FACS workers have any further close involvement with the former fostered children?

Yes I’d imagine it was normal to take a pic, be interesting to know reason for asking whether he had showed it to anyone.

Police sought William Tyrrell two years before he vanished, inquest told

Two years before his sudden disappearance made him a household name, police were also looking for William Tyrrell.

In February 2012, Family and Community Services came to collect the little boy after a court had ruled that he was to go into the care of the Minister for Family and Community Services.
He wasn't there, leading police to issue a warrant for the arrest of his biological mother.

A month later, he was located at the home of a relative, then taken into foster care, the Coroner's Court at Lidcombe heard on Monday morning on the first day of the inquest into his disappearance.
