so he says he knows the kids..he also observed they dont wanderA few more comments and pics from Mr Savage ... from earlier days.
Sometimes I wonder if the media knew things that we hadn't yet twigged onto.
"If he had wandered, he would have been found," Savage says.
"When I go for a walk you still find yourself keeping an eye out, hoping for a scream or a yell and not a horrible smell.
"I don't know how his family has coped, it must be torture for them."

The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age Photos - NCH WK END MAG. The town of Kendall is still reeling from the disappearance of young boy William Tyrell from his grandma's yard.
Oct 2014
“Very few people around here knew him and his sister, not many of us, just two little kids visiting,” Mr Savage told news.com.au.
“They wouldn’t go wandering. They would stay close to their grandmother.
“You’d never see them unless you were walking or driving past.”
What happened on the day William Tyrrell vanished?
Dec 2018
like maybe time for my walk....little red boy waiting for his dadYes, if William ran down that slope, as little children like to do ... he would have been right near that roadside, completely unseen from the house, and anyone there could have quietly spirited William away in the friendliest of manners.

Too much information from PS I thinkso he says he knows the kids..he also observed they dont wander
On the other hand, despite the quietness, it seems likely (to me, anyway) that FFC and William's sister weren't aware of the green-grey car before it drove right past them, even though they probably would have been able to hear it approaching for some time before it even turned the corner and drove up past the driveway they were on.Something I keep coming back to is how quiet the area has been described and whether a car would have been able to enter the street, turn, stop to take William, take off and exit, all without being heard.
William's foster mother said sound carries "unbelievably" well in the little village of Kendall and "you can hear everything”
"I couldn't hear a thing. It was silent. There was no wind. There were no birds," the foster carer said on Tuesday at a Sydney coronial inquest into William's disappearance and suspected death.
High-pitched scream minutes after William vanished
Around the time William disappeared it was still, perfect for outside sounds to be heard IMO
In the first episode of the Where’s William podcast Lia Harris also describes how quiet it is and that standing on Benaroon Drive you could hear a pin drop.
If the abductor came from outside the estate they have been incredibly lucky not to have been seen or heard.
Yes that’s fair, in comparison to BS cool demeanour . What’s more telling , the aggressive response of AJ and PS or the cool cucumber BS
I think that the witness list has probably been given to relevant parties, as well as the brief of evidence. (July 1st is this coming Monday.)
That is likely how the media found out that Jubes has been called to attend.
I wonder how likely it is that other interested persons/POIs/suspects that we have spoken of are on the list? Seems that MSM may have published that info as well, if other potential interested persons that we know about are on the witness list.
Craddock also tendered some new exhibits ahead of the resumption of the inquest in August, telling the court the full brief of evidence would be served by July 1st, along with the list of witnesses to be called.

William Tyrrell: 'Someone Out There Knows More'
July 1 - just around the corner now SA. Just hoping it brings answers & justice for a little boy who was far too innocent to be deserved of all this horrible stuff .
The sad reality is that there Is Someone who knows something - who could provide answers- yet they're so devoid of anything resembling Humanity that they continue to remain silent, even after all these years . It's totally beyond My comprehension and it's what seperates my judgement re perpretators / penalties.
In this instance - death sentence for sure IMO . Plenty of time & opportunities given to make good & make penance. .. true life must
I believe that Justice will be Served. .. days or years to come ... just when they least expect it. .. but IMO it will happen .
Yes, IMO bring on Monday (July 1) - it'll be an interesting read, and I hope provides answers.
I believe above all else, that Children Must be Safe in our society. Crimes against them Must be punished with full Force IMO

Maybe it's attentiveness that matters more than quietness. The residents might be able to hear a pin drop, but first they have to want to![]()
Re the profile of DCI Jubes, which I think is relevant to this thread because he was a lead investigator:
- Before William went missing, DCI Jubelin talked about the Bowraville murder cases (1990-91) at a parliamentary inquiry in May 2014, at which he said:
--- "The families have been let down by the justice system."
--- "It's very nice for society to say that all victims are treated equally. Unfortunately in this situation I do not think that is entirely correct."
--- "I'm not a do-gooder or a bleeding heart. However, race and to a lesser degree socio-economic factors have impacted on the manner in which these matters have been investigated."
--- He believed the police are being prevented from convicting the person responsible for the Bowaville murders. He blamed the courts, lawyers, IMO presumably some police, the NSW state government, and said "People do not care."
- He has one tattoo visible on his right bicep: a Sanskrit "Om". There's another one on his "left flank" (is it visible when he punches?): "Better to die on your feet than live on your knees."

I was able to read the article, but only after giving up in despair, clearing history and cookies, closing the browser while plugged into the power (because it's on an iPad and thus an Apple device which I think won't register information until plugged in?), then finding hope, opening the browser, copying then pasting the URL into a Google search box (to search for the URL; I don't mean that I put it in the address bar) then from the list of results I clicked on the link showing the article name with a bit of introductory text underneath it.
Random question, could someone possibly name the caravan park in Campbelltown that historic events / allegations were made against bs?
I don't think it was a caravan park? Just a van in a backyard, I think?
I grew up in Campbelltown too..can't remember there being one there. Only out back of there, like Denham Court and Camden.
Thank you, I can’t stomach the details in articles relating to this, so I’m not game to search to find what I’m looking for. I’m hoping to know dates / month / year (was it 1987?)
Thank you SA i truly appreciate itYou don't need to read the article, Green beans. It is sickening. But here is the info. Presumably the weekend that fell at the end of April and beginning of May 1987.
"Spedding is alleged to have inflicted the abuse in April and May, 1987."
"Police allege the abuse was carried out during a weekend when Spedding was staying in a caravan near Campbelltown in 1987. "
