@JLZ
A bus!! Well spotted! :) I had no idea.

That little white dog probably knew everything there was to know about the road and the entire neighbourhood: out on patrol, 24/7!

I hope fluffy gets called to the inquest in March to give evidence... :)

Although I am not sure I want to hear what it tells us about FA

Thanks for looking. How strange. Maybe they put the article up then pulled it? I couldn't locate it on Press Reader either, even though Google said it was there.

Or maybe DT adjust their articles for different states. Not sure what state you are in, but perhaps it was only in NSW editions. The post looked like it was a photo from a newspaper.

Do we know exactly what day it was in DT? I still have both papers here but I couldn't find a thing

Thanks MOP .....
is there any more to the article???
Seriously considering the need to take up a subscription for the Australian....

Maybe he is the new “fall guy” for what is really happening behind the scenes as he can’t fight back while in jail..,,??

Or else they are really putting pressure on him???

I have also wondered if this was released purely as he was on the witness list to take “the heat” off the investigation into the FFC photos???

Very interesting that they are relating the latest search directly to his testimony ,.... where is the direct evidence for that statement.....???
Don’t get me wrong I’m not suggesting it’s incorrect..,, but who from the Police said that was the case???

Was he a closed court witness or did they interview him in jail???? And if it is the latter then who leaking the information?

Or did journalist visit him in jail and do interview with him????

AMOO...., but still happy that the case is staying in the media... more chance of finding William..

Not really much else I put the main William stuff in.

I have PM you the full article :)

I'd love to be there to hear what he says. Hope Jana asks some pertinent questions, especially since he now says, 'Nothing is off limits'. I used to always enjoy her work.

I remember others questioning things in past threads when articles stated 'according to police sources' with no specific officer named. It seems to be getting even worse now, with no source at all stated.

Without coming across as narky, Is it possible that Carolines reporting and involvement in reporting this case is to help sell more books when it comes out next year?

How many other cases has she been involved in this heavily with reporting?

How long has she been writing this book or when did she decided to write the book?

When did she start reporting on William as she has been, was it way before Lia Harris started the inquest twitter updates and podcast?

I dont mean any disrespect to her whatsoever It is just a question based on South Aussies above quote with all of the new reporting, not just Caroline but in general.

Now that he is off the leash from NSWPF I would love to see him pop up on here in cases to chat. After all his article did state that he is open to talk about what he wants to now.

So Jubes, if you are here on the forum dont be shy!

Returning to the subject of sentencing for child sexual abuse . . . there's a report on the ABC site today of a man who was sentenced by a NSW judge to 45 years with a minimum of 33 for the abuse of his daughter in the 1970s and 1980s. He changed his plea to guilty mid-trial.

William Tyrrell podcast: foster parents requested tracking device search

William Tyrrell’s foster parents asked detectives to check their car for tracking devices, concerned that somebody had followed them from Sydney to the sleepy village of Kendall with the aim of kidnapping the boy.

A transcript of a police interview, obtained by The Australian for its new podcast series, Nowhere Child, shows police testing the theory that William’s disappearance was the result of a targeted abduction, not a random kidnap.

To add to drsleuth's post ...

Detectives replied that they had looked “but not from a bug point of view … from a camera point of view. We’ve looked at cameras, and there was no-one, nothing there.”

Detectives examined footage from cameras around a Sydney cattery after the foster mum told them she dropped the cats off for weekend boarding before heading up to Kendall.

They also quizzed staff at the children’s crèche, after the foster parents said they stopped there to collect William and his sister, Lindsay, just ahead of the four-hour drive north.

Police checked CCTV around the McDonald’s in Raymond Terrace to see if the family was maybe followed out of the carpark.

What exactly have police been doing for the nearly five years William has been missing? We look at some of the scenarios and some of the stings.

I was re-reading this article recently:
Bones, speargun found in Tyrrell search

And a couple of things caught my attention ( aside from the pic of Jubes)

It makes a point to say being called as a witnesses doesn't make anyone a suspect.
it also mention on 2 accounts that 'inmateS' will be called so I'm thinking along with FA is either someone who's blabbing in him, or someone ge's blabbing in - IMO.

If we look at this case in parallel to the Daniel Morcombe case, as this podcast does, it seems that in the case of a lone wolf crime, with no found forensics, the police really need a confession from their primary POI.

The police, apparently, receive confessions from people who are begging for attention. But they need a real confession from the real lone wolf POI, and go to great lengths to obtain that confession.

How can he be called a Man IMO - this is a most atrocious situation. That poor child, now woman, has been damaged beyond belief. I've the utmost admiration for her courage, at the same time, this story validates why I believe in the death penalty !
