Was the white where it should have been visible to Mr Chapman?

Don't know.

Chapman testified the boy was wearing a Spider-Man suit.

He said: “It was red and the underarm part was blue."

Chapman was then asked to explain what led him to conclude it was a Spider-Man suit.

"Well the kids next door, they had a Spider-Man suit and that's what it appeared to me to be," Chapman answered.

There is something wrong here..... this is either incorrect???? or the last photo of William is incorrect??? As there is definitely no white on that Spiderman suit.....

Perhaps there was white on the T-shirt underneath. That was Spider-man too I think?

It's the first I've heard of any white, and I don't remember any white on the suit posted up in the incident room. But they might have been keeping it quiet to distinguish true from false sightings.

JLZ I was just looking for that photo in the incident room.... do you have a copy??? As William wasn't even wearing a white singlet underneath....

The court is now being played a conversation had in person between Jubelin and Savage at his home in Kendall, recorded on Jubelin’s mobile phone.

Jubelin tells Savage “from the time William disappeared, we don’t know where you were for two hours”. Savage tells him he was searching for William.

The October phone tap was when a warrant was current. Mr Jubelin called Mr Savage on November 3 from Parramatta - once the warrant had expired - and allegedly recorded as he revisited Mr Savage's version of these events.

I’m thinking that’s the point... If PS has to think long n hard in minimal amount of time about what he saw that day and then somehow transform that information into some sort of lie that corroborates his story then that would mean he knows exactly what WT was wearing that morning and what colour the spider man suit was.. otherwise you would simply answer the question in 2 seconds flat no time needed

In all of the photos released it appears to be a blue t-shirt with red trim …. we need to find that photo of the incident room to see if the Police also purchased the exact t-shirt???

If, as Chapman said.... the child in the back had his arms up on the window ….. then you do actually see a lot of blue.....
I remember when this first came out..... looking at the "Spiderman Suit" again, and noticing how much blue there was, for the first time..... before that I had thought it was mostly red.....

I do recall however a comment made by FM way back when she described how WT specifically wanted to wear his spider man outfit that morning and the compromise was that he wear a singlet underneath.. not sure of the colour of the singlet or if the colour of it was ever mentioned
