But mental illness does which has just been verified by the judge.
I’m not sure what you mean? Somebody with a mental illness can absolutely engage in disordered and unacceptable behaviour, just the same as anybody who doesn’t have a mental illness. IMO

But you seem to ignore the Surveillance Laws of NSW, and yes police are able to use those methods of surveillance but there are stringent laws about them, and rightly so IMO.
Have you seen them? they are a few pages pack - posted them yesterday or the day before

IMO the Surveillance Laws are archaic in todays technical world.

As you say TGY, you can film anyone on Dashcam and then load it up to the world on FB or any other SM platform. Does the person being filmed have a choice? No

Cameras caught that parasite who stalked and killed Jill Meagher, yes I say put one on every street corner.

Cameras, cameras everywhere please except up a skirt.

If PS has a mental illness then all the more reason for GJ to protect himself or his interests as PS maybe be unpredictable or irrational, either accuse GJ of something or potentially self harm. If I were GJ I would want to cover myself too.

Jubelin told the court when Supt Scott Cook took over Homicide he pointed to a picture of William Tyrrell next to Jubelin’s desk and told him “no one cares about that kid. Get him off the books and get him to Unsolved Homicide”. He told the court he was “shocked” by the comment.

Just wow..... This is going to get ugly

Hogan is questioning Jubelin about why he treated Savage as a suspect. He put to him “the AVO in relation to (the postwoman) has absolutely no relevance” and Jubelin responded “I accept it has no relevance... but the fact that he would be untruthful about that caused me concern”.

I totally agree. I honestly don't think he's done anything wrong. If he wasn't a detective he would've had a body camera on. SO WHAT & that's legal.
I'm sick of this tall poppy, whiteant tear anything with good purpose down.

Speaking of whiteants I think I can see them here, right now on my screen.

I disagree the AVO had no relevance. At the very least it shows a propensity towards boundary violation and the breach indicates a disregard of the law. IMO

Your message #309 and the above one. Jubelin wanted to "stir" Mr Savage up and then became concerned Mr Savage may harm himself, and Jubelin wanted to protect himself for any future coronial inquest. If this for real. Is he referring to a coronial inquest for Mr Savage's death if he had committed suicide due to the Jubelin 'stir'? Really?! And then Jubelin decides to record everything on his own mobile phone without a warrant. Astonishing.

You know what's astonishing, the attitude of the current homicide commander Mr Scott Cook, absolutely appalling.....thank God there are good cops out there like Jubes who are in the job for the right reasons.....victims & families!

Yes a mentally ill person will do some pretty crazy things if having a psychotic episode which is out of the norm. I'm not saying PS was psychotic as we don't know the extent of his mental illness.

Was he? How long did he have to be by his wife's side to see her suffer and her health deteriorate from cancer and her consequent death? How did he handle his Grief? Do you know?
It seems he handled it by professing his love for other women and having AVOs taken out against him for stalking. Poor Heather having to deal with that along with her cancer.

That is untrue. A mentally ill person does not need to be having a psychotic episode in order to engage in disturbing behaviour. IMO

Totally correct Stormy.

I said about psychosis because it can cover other mental states as well. And i also said i don't know about PS mental illness and would have been up to a psychiatrist to determine.

Even the Magistrate says that PS had 'some mental illness'.
Actually not the Magistrate, his name is Hudson. It was the prosecutor who said that - he may have been saying that by GJ's own admission he believed PS had mental illness, and therefore knew he was vulnerable, but yet he forged on. imo.

I think the cops are supposed to be 'a cut above'. imo.
