BBM But I’m suggesting he may have been delusional. If so, it may explain his behaviour. I’m certainly not suggesting it would excuse his behaviour, although in a criminal court (in the event of criminal behaviour) a judge would consider fitness to plead. IMO
I'm not sure if we're understanding each other or not. If postie said stop doing that, and PS didn't stop, then regardless of postie's feelings towards PS, his behaviour is not OK. So what PS believed about postie's feelings is irrelevant to the unacceptability and unreasonableness of his behaviour. If it was more than an erotomanic delusion, for example PS thought he was on the point of suffocation and only a fragment of attention from postie would save him from immediate death . . . that's different. And I doubt it. But I don't know him.

I think we might be talking about different things.. but that’s ok :)

In responding to your new rephrased questions those four recordings are the ones the police have raised as being at issue (it does matter if they were at the police station in an interview room Versus jubelin taping a phone call from the police station)

Yes I do think they would pursue which is what they have done?

I was just saying video’s that have been released are not the illegal ones?
I didn't think any of the charges levied against Jubelin involved recordings of an official live police interview at the police station with Savage and two police officers. So I agree that the video released of the interview is not one of the ones he was charged with illegally recording. (Why have they released this video?)

He seems twisted. Maybe he got his jollies ordering viagra and having the person with an AVO on him, made to deliver it to him.

Savage and his wife were required to go to the post office to pick up their mail, once the AVO was in effect.

Re the white spider on William's Spiderman suit: @deugirtni pointed out in thread 50 that the spider was shown on the suit used in channel 7's "Sunday Night" interview with William's bio mother ("My William", broadcast on TV on 04 March 2018, and available after that online). I can't find deugirtni's post now, so maybe we are not supposed to link to the show? There were screenshots, and they clearly showed the back of William's suit, and prominently visible there was a white spider. The point being: the viewing public has known about that since March 2018, though presumably not many of us realised the significance

Yes, and the planting of the no-white-on-it spiderman suit happened in July 2017. Eight months before the Sunday Night show ....

Then Savage spoke in one of the recordings - in November 2017 - about ‘seeing the white’ on the planted suit. Four months before the Sunday Night show.

Hi all, I've been following the William Tyrrell case from the beginning and have been reading here for a while, especially during the inquest and Gary Jubelin's trial.

I have lots of theories about what MAY have happened to William, but I know that there is a lot of evidence we don't have access to. However, with regard to Paul Savage, I just wanted to make a couple of comments about the interview videos that have become available.

The video on Ch9, where he talks about the spider man suit and the apparent reference to there being "white" seems on that tape not to be accurate. What PS actually said was "striped top", but another voice (not PS or GJ), comes on the tape and says "white top". It is even there on the transcription, at 1.44. Nine News Sydney on Twitter

On the Ch7 tape at around 10 seconds in (that is the second video half way down the page), GJ makes reference to the "lies" PS has told, where he says "you lied about Toller". Later at 1.44 he says about PS's "past and what you told me about your past", snip "that was a terrible upbringing" snip "was he making a noise while you were waiting for Toller to come?" I'd like to know who is Toller? https://7news.com.au/news/william-t...ut-as-gary-jubelin-inquest-concludes-c-698243
Postie??

Or maybe he was delusional.. truly believed that his love for the postie was reciprocated. That would explain his breach of the AVO. So perhaps he ordered the viagra, truly believing he was in luck. But then he’s rejected in some way or William interrupts his fantasy. Maybe this made him angry (we know he has some anger issues)... IMO
There is a relatively rare form of dementia that might explain this type of behaviour It is called "frontal lobe dementia".

Thanks, I googled it and it could well be an explanation for his behaviour.

Edit - the medical article I'm reading says it usually appears between 45-65 yrs. Paul Savage did say he doesn't suffer from a mental illness. I'll find the link to it.

Was it 'around the town'? I thought it was around his house.
Always hard to know what’s correct eh.
Today’s Brisbane Sunday Mail had a 3/4 page article that mentioned PS displaying ‘strange’ behaviour since HS died in 2015 including walking around with a photo of his dead wife Heather around his neck .....
William’s sister had also told detectives she saw William running towards Daddy’s car before he vanished.
The court heard their FF had a grey station wagon, just like Savage did ...

PS apparently also had a grave driveway ...

I wasn’t going to go there but... ;)

Does Lyn actually exist though? Or is she imaginary?
From what I’ve read in all reports, even ps mentioning speaking to her that morning, caravan lady is very real..

He doesn't have a gravel driveway? good pick up. The google map is from March 2010, it's brick pavers, can't imagine he changed to gravel by 2014?

The thing is, these points may have been brought up in court but were corrected or disputed. Did Williams sister see him from the corner of the back verandah or from the stairs? Too many inconsistencies.

Doesn’t having an AVO on a person prohibit that person from being within a certain distance from their work/home?

Oh my goodness,
I wonder who the viagra was to impress.... Not that buying that is a crime, just interesting they felt the need to report it.

Jubelin told the court his suspicions about Mr Savage, a widower, arose from allegedly odd behaviour including a conviction for breaching an apprehended violence order taken out by the local postie, Virginia Toller, his purchase of Viagra three days before William’s disappearance, his strange reaction to seeing a Spider-Man suit Jubelin had deliberately placed on a bush trail, Savage’s theft of a covert police camera and his constant mutterings to himself as he rattled around his house, including phrases like: “You’re just a little boy, you’re nobody. You don’t tell me, I tell you and I did, sweetheart.”

“You’re just a little boy, you’re nobody. You don’t tell me, I tell you and I did, sweetheart.”

does the article say if this was said in one sitting?!

‘Toller’ was the postie who had an AVO against him.

Tolla is the post lady.

There are 2 Daily Tele articles today that have all of this info in them, they are Paywalled and are very very long. I will try to give a bit of info:

We’re for Sydney | Daily Telegraph

Cops Secret Immunity Offer to solve William Tyrrell Case.

- Jubelin was considering offering Savage a similar immunity deal to what he offered Atkins in the Leveson Inquest. There was a description of Faye Leveson consoling FM.

- It said that Williams Sister, in her interview, told Detectives that she saw William running towards daddy's car before he vanished. PS had a similiar car as FF, described as Grey station wagon.

- A couple who lived on Benaroon Drive also told police they heard the sound of a car moving on a gravel driveway. Savage had a gravel driveway.

There is much more as it is a 'huge' article.

Anyone else that has access could add more.

ETA: IMO that was the second time that the 'white' top was mentioned, from memory PS mentioned it to GJ earlier.
Cheers Sleep. Seems similar article in Sunday Mail. I posted a little

I'm seeing at least some of PS's driveway as gravel, maybe not right up to the garage, and that's Google 2017. Is it his you mean?

Thanks JLZ, I made a mistake, PS lives at No. 43? Yes, there's gravel.

Another place gravel might have been heard is the top track.
