Perhaps I am wrong but I thought you could reach the driveway either way? I don't have msm for who saw him go that way - so I'll retract that someone saw him heading to the drive
peekinandy,

I'm just trying to find out where your information came from (and if there's any more of it). Was the info given by someone who knows what they're talking about and you're confident of their truthfulness, or might it just have been rumour or speculation?

I expect William would have been capable of running right around the house to get to the driveways from the other side, yes, I agree. But I'm guessing it's more likely that if a three-year-old can see where they want to go they'll probably go straight there. Here's a screenshot from "Where is William?" 60 Minutes Australia (at about 10:40) showing how close the carport is to the patio. The carport leads to the top/paved driveway.

It was stated in Caroline Overington's book that GO rang fgm house on the 12th of sep , and also the day before.
could this have some type of connection to FA? did they drive past the house also that morning ? Just something i have been thinking.
Yes very possible they did a drive by.
FA sounds like a scary guy... but didn't FA not have a car? (Unless he used someone else's)
MOO

Well the info came from here - within the past few weeks? Something about his sister - but nothing I can substantiate as true in fact, so just MOO (& wrong of me to state without fact & this is why I conceded I was wrong & retracted it), & perhaps we just have to wait to see if there is any truth about that from the inquest? I think if he was headed down the back yard way already, there's no reason he can't continue around to reach the driveway as he's already part-way there IMO. If he headed that way - as suggested by FF & MSN - there's no reason to go back past the photo shoot deck & around the front of the yard, because now it would be the shortest route if daddy is on your mind?? MOO

FA & GO could be together IMO - just speculating :)

It does sound like he doesn't have a car - but from the inquest it sounded like sometimes GO & FA worked together - MOO

There are only 2 dirt tracks that lead you out of Benaroon Drive both of which are incredibly steep so I’m not sure if taking a child by foot would have been the best and the quickest choice

Two dirt tracks by car or foot? Or both? The most obvious route by car is not steep at all... just bumpy and perhaps a 30-45 degree rise only IMO. Only steep for the unfit on foot? Too hard for a non 4wd IMO due to rogue lumps and crevices, rather than steepness. A 4wd could take that track so easily IMO & usually do. It's well worn! MOO

Yes I'm just thinking as FFC saw two cars... someone had to be driving the second car. Unless they were together in one car, the car that the neighbours heard..
IMO

My understanding from the inquest - Craddock was trying to establish during his questioning of GO, if GO had FA carry out work on his behalf if GO was unable to due to a hospital procedure and recovery time. GO indicated he wouldn't use FA as his workmanship did not meet GO's standards.

I also read that about Go, not allowing fa to complete any of his work .
The locals who have had work done by go, would know if that was a true statement from go.

Is this his workmanship before WT went missing, or after? wonder when he first got disappointed. in his 'workmanship'?

Too steep by foot & by car? Have you been there? I have and I couldn't describe any of the exits as steep... MOO. Interested in your opinion though

It's not clear from the Q & A's at the inquest when he first became disappointed, but he wasn't impressed with FA's repair work on the caravan next door.

Yes that's clear but I don't think his testimony is over just yet? is it?

Blues Clues added a link yesterday “William Tyrrell”. It’s a missing child report and in that report a police officer mentions the 2 dirt tracks that are very steep the only other way out of Benaroon Drive is via Ellendale Crescent.

One thing in particular I did pick up on in that report was just how quickly the story changed from being a little boy missing from the veranda of the home while playing with his sister to little boy went missing from playing at the side of the home to little boy went missing from playing in the front yard. I also remember reading the media reports closer to the day William went missing and recall the story that William and his sister were playing hide and seek and the officer asked Williams sister if there were any hiding places and I think her response was no. Not long after that the story then changed to William playing daddy tiger mummy monster. So there are a few variations to what happened that morning but I tend to go by the very first report that was taken on that day when statements made were raw and in that moment without time to think about what could be changed or altered

OK so not out of Benaroon? In fact, the tracks out of Ellendale are not steep either -but I guess that's a matter of conjecture? I guess if we look on topographic map it may give us some idea? Do you have one? I'm not trying to be 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 but realistically - just nah - IMO. Nothing is very steep around there. I will welcome the fact I am wrong if you can find evidence to dispute it...

This is what was written in the report
If you take out the small dirt track off Benaroon Drive, which winds several hundred metres up to a cemetery where William's grandfather is buried, or another dirt track that meanders up another side of a ridge, the street is the only way in and out.
And the walk up both tracks is steep. Very steep.

let me be clear that it’s not my intention to prove what I post to be right or to prove anyone else’s posts to be wrong. I am simply posting bits of information that I’ve come across that cover all aspects and all possible scenarios. I’m not finger pointing or claiming my thoughts and opinions to be fact because that would require actual proof and that I most certainly don’t have.
