Mr Gardoll told the court he didn’t “go scrapping” with Jones the morning William disappeared, despite Jones’ wife testifying that’s where Jones said he’d gone. Mr Gardoll said he was at home when he saw on the news a little boy had gone missing from Kendall.

If he knew something he had ample opportunity and a lot of reason to say something. He was being investigated, Jubes was applying a lot of pressure on him, if he had witness evidence that would clear him and place someone else under suspicion, wouldn't he say so?
He should have, it's strange that he's saying anything at all now, why suggest he knows something but won't tell, ugh? Irritating and childish man!

Mr Gardoll told the court he saw Jones later that day, around 4-4.30pm, and he was laying in bed “pretty well intoxicated”. He said Jones told him he’d been scrapping in the forest that morning.

Mr Gardoll told the court Jones then told him to “get the motorbikes ready” to go to Kendall and help search for William Tyrrell the next day. He said he never showed up the next morning. Instead, he told him he’d spent the petrol money on “longnecks” to drink with Paul Bickford.

Mr Gardoll told the court his mother kicked Jones out of the house a “couple of weeks later” and he no longer has any contact with him.

And sounds like as dumb as dirt “paints his car blue after he was done for DUI,”lol wonder if he hand painted it too.

Mr Gardoll has been excused and the court has adjourned while the witness who missed his flight is driven to Taree. It will likely not be able to resume until later this afternoon.

The court is now being shown images of a burned out car, which Mr Gardoll told the court belonged to Tony Jones.
Is the burnt out car the Ford Courier that he painted blue or another vehicle?

And why did he burn his own car???
He was into 'scrapping' so why not scrap it?

Good question. I can think of only 1 good reason although doesn’t seem to be the same car MJ saw him in.

Mr Gardoll is asked about Jones’ car, a white Ford Courier, which he painted blue sometime before September 2014. He couldn’t recall exactly when he painted the car but told the court “he got done for DUI in it so he painted it blue”.

I wonder if a Ford Courier sounds like the posties car.

That's why I am a little confused...

This article says TJ was seen in a white camry on the day WT disappeared.

And I've seen the pic others have posted with the "white camry" (assuming it is the same one) being being towed away for forensic testing...

But the burnt out car featured here looks to me to be more station wagon-ish than ute-ish (Ford Courier).

Further to my post before...

So does this mean TJ burnt out the white camry after it was forensically tested?

Or is it another vehicle entirely?

Wasn't there a tie up between Tony Jones ex wife, Debbie Jones aka Debbie Gardoll and someone called Kim Loweke? I think it was something to do with Debbie Gardoll's brother living with Kim? And there was also a tie between Kim and William's bio grandmother, (best friend maybe)? Perhaps I have that wrong?

I missed the news report....

I wonder if his idea is based on:

*Rumours

*What he saw leading up to or at the time William went missing

*His suspicions based on the behaviour of someone that he knows and associates with.
Spite maybe?
or just not wanting to be out of the limelight? "I think I know but I'm not telling" is a great way to keep people asking you questions.

Probably best you change the Bio grand mothers name to just BGM due NPO orders ;)
