I can’t believe it, I’m so shocked and heartbroken for little william. I hope he’s found soon :(

To say I am stunned is an understatement...........

I don't really know what to make of it either.

I sit here and read comments that jump to big conclusions, when we really don't know (as usual) what is going on.

The Australian says that the precise circumstances are unclear. There is bruising, the police are considering common assault charges, the AVO is being sought.

I hope that erratic first years, a life blighted by the stress of a missing brother, being watched by SM stalkers, having to be sheltered from MSM, having court hearings about William ..... have not caused psychological problems for any of William's siblings - or for any of his parents. Problems that may lead to something like an AVO.

The problem is, I don't think we will ever hear an outcome. Not because of who it is, but because this is about a minor child and names/events are always suppressed in incidents involving minor children.

William Tyrrell’s foster dad details his frantic search for toddler

His foster mother tells investigators as she drove around looking for William, she saw a large truck coming down the road and pulled over to let it pass.

“And then I drive really slow on Moore, and I get to the Riding School and I just think, he’s not here.

So was this the riding school she drove to back then? the RDA which that spot appears to be in the latest search.

No speculation just media posts

Do you know where this "Moore" is that she referred to? I can't find a street named Moore in the Kendall area.

I think it highly likely William's sister has revealed something crucial to the investigation into the disappearance of her beloved brother William.
No, and that’s what people are implying. This AVO may be there JUST BECAUSE they’re now the main POI’s. Whether or not there was really an incident here, who knows
If the police are taking out an AVO - has to be likely violence occurred and likely it will continue - AVO are not made up

I personally do not believe William's environment with his biological mother was in any way unsafe.
Again state would have removed children for a reason , might not have been very strong reason -

That would make sense, except they seem convinced they’re looking for a body now and not looking for clues. You’d think if they’re so certain they’re going to find something concrete in one of those 3 search areas then they wouldn’t be walking away empty handed after just a few weeks.
Bones remain; clues not so much. Evidently the coroner is not completely satisfied with the searching that was done. I don't think they're certain finding anything; I'm inclined to think that if they were, it wouldn't be three areas to be searched, it would be one.

I hear what you are saying. And I probably should be more measured and restrained in my thoughts and words now...

And yet, the way the police have come out, with this powerful statement, about the huge effort they are now making, because of this new information, which is leading them towards a new development, which they say is concrete and focused, and they go as far as to name who their new POI's are---then adding in news of an AVO against the fp by the homicide unit?

Those are not small clues---those seem to be a concerted effort on LE's part to send a public message about the sharp turn this case has taken.

What has seemed odd to me all day is that law enforcement said this new search will take 2-3 weeks. How do they know how long it will take to find anything? Is that just the maximum amount of time they will search those areas if they don’t find anything? They could find something tomorrow, for instance.
Collecting evidence ?

And The Australian news state this

"NSW Homicide Squad detectives have sought an apprehended violence order against the foster parents of William Tyrrell following an alleged assault on a child related to the missing boy"
Yes the child in question is related to the missing boy. The alleged assault is not related to the missing boy.

If the Homicide Unit is alleging that William's FP's assaulted a child related to him, that is directly related to Wm's case, in my opinion. JMO

AVO's nearly always granted. They will get one.

It almost seems too much disclosure on the part of LE. Why would they be ok with releasing this info when no one has been charged? Could it be that this is a strategy to make the real perp feel comfortable enough that they’ve gotten away with it? Unlikely I know, but just trying not to have tunnel vision based on limited information. IMO
