Just watched 7 news and it reported that they went into the lawyer's Sydney office and sacked them.

LOL what??

Curiouser and curiouser.

Unless they wanted/needed different representation more suited to their current legal issues.

A Current Affair on WT now.

Yep. As he’s conveniently just been seen on CCTV in town.

“Back in five”.

FFC calls triple zero.

Everything suddenly feels too convenient and downright unbelievable. I trusted for years that these people had been properly cleared. Now it’s like… so they were outside on the deck. William jumps down onto the grass and runs around the corner. Someone swoops in, picks him up, takes him away either on foot or by car, right out here in this way out rural quiet area, with grandma and sister sitting ON THE OUTSIDE DECK, and no one heard or saw a thing.

It just all seems so ludicrous now.

Yes but don't forget there was a Skype call planned and a pharmacy pick up. Police would have (you'd think) corroborated these via pings, log ins, receipts, etc.

This is quite a good interview with Michael Usher today talking about the FFamly.

the photo seems to be the only proof of life that morning, from memory she said she took 3 for her scrapbook chronicling williams life or something
I spotted this photo on the Daily Mail, also allegedly taken on the same day.

Strange to fire your lawyers. It's not their fault you're being charged for assault.

On the other hand, the existing lawyers may have advised them to go see lawyers who specialize in criminal law.

All it takes is for someone to make a complaint to police and police apply for an AVO on that person’s behalf (if they’re a minor.) The court pretty much grants it each time. When I was in my teens I witnessed a lot of people getting AVO’s out on one another. I lived in a pretty bad area. I even had to go to the police and apply to have one out on a neighbour because they wouldn’t stop harassing/threatening me.

Were they minors?
Having an AVO against you in relation to a minor is a whole different kettle of fish. It has serious consequences. Police generally take them out only where there is evidence sufficient to do so.

They’re using ground penetrating equipment on the new driveway now .. what would be the point of that? It’s ridiculously unlikely that he is somehow under the new driveway at GMA’s .. this is getting weird again.

The news said they were 'sacked' but, who knows with MSM if anything is true.

I'd imagine there aren't too many lawyers who would be keen to take on these clients.

Poor little girl. I’m feeling so sad for her
My hearts absolutely breaking for her, so much trauma in her life.

Her words are still stuck in my mind from when she gave her statement to the court on the last day :(

Wasn't a dry eye in the place........

Unless they are hiring more 'powerful' legal representation than what has been provided so far?

Just assuming as the only time I have used a lawyer is for conveyancing and to do my will.

I don’t know if this has been discussed here before. The foster family had renovations done to their Sydney home not long after Williams disappearance. Im wondering whether any evidence could have been removed from one hiding place and concealed in the new renovations.

I know this was a very touchy subject some time ago about the renovations done on the house. Now after the last couple of days, I think anything could be possible IMO

Yes they were all confirmed, well we were lead to believe they were!

I thought same. It's one thing for an AVO to be applied for person to person. Used to be done commonly.

It's a whole different process when it's a police instigated/non-person applied AVO, IMO. Anecdotally - for the latter - mine was 26 pages affidavit (applied for *by Police*). They had to ensure all grounds for AVO were heavily legitimised.

I wonder if it was because the Lawyer's didn't manage to suppress their names from the NSW Court List for a day or so, so was well seen by the time it was removed?

if you're going to do something - getting these gpr specialists out to Kendall, that is - you might as well do the most thorough job you can.

remember that even if you're on team foster parents, THOROUGHLY going over every millimeter of the property is also how you EXCLUDE them as suspects.

But obviously not well enough if the police are only now forensically testing the FGM’s car and house!
Likely due to whatever information/tip-off has been received. This leads me to wonder if this theory they are testing has a substantial backbone. IMO

That is the thing with today's 'instant' need for news. Media is only out to generate clicks and often posts supposition or speculation and tries to cover it in a sheen of 'facts'. The reporting of the fabric found today, which was later dismissed by police as of no consequence, is a case in point.

I have enjoyed your posts these past few days, too, they have often given me food for thought and a different perspective to consider. Thank you.
