Homicide Squad detective inspector Gary Jubelin said officers will be on hand from various departments including The Public Order Riot Squad, The Operational Support Group, North Region police and the dog squad.

The latest information comes just after the search took an international turn, with authorities in dozens of far-reaching countries expected to join the cause.

Oh no :tantrum: my heart just sank even more....poor William :(

Awfully close to where BS lives.......

Prayers to his family and loved ones

I was wondering where the search is happening in relation to BS.

The area is close to the so-called Ghost Road, officially known as Houston-Mitchell Drive, which connects Ocean Drive with the Pacific Highway and is a popular route for Bonny Hills and Lake Cathie residents.

“We are looking for evidence relating to the disappearance and suspected abduction of William,” said *Inspector Jubelin, who has *recently taken over the investigation. “It is as a result of fresh information received.”

He would not confirm that at this stage police were looking for William’s body.

In the article there is a map with a highlighted area where police will be searching. I do not know how to bring the image over.

So what do they think happened? Reading between the lines ... terrible photos were taken of William, then distributed internationally, then he was killed? I'm having trouble with with that line of thinking, to be honest. If there was proof of any photos they would have arrested BS already, IMO.

Proof again that police still have absolutely no idea what happened to William, one minute it's searching through a tradesmans's house, next it's checking every single person in Kendall the day William disappeared, then it's looking overseas, and now it's searching bushland again. They are at a complete loss and have NOTHING in my opinion.

Ohh or maybe not .. this sounds like they actually KNOW something, and there's that bit picture of BS again, as if he's shot back up to top of the suspect list .. http://www.news.com.au/national/nsw...r-william-tyrell/story-fnii5s3x-1227243896094
Interesting isn't it, that BS is still being named in presumably a completely different direction of the case i.e. searching bushland..

I swear if this case turns out to be a pedophilia ring, that kidnapped shared pictures and killed WT.... well i never. ..

I think the lie that made police investigate BS further was him saying he was never in Kendall that day, when his phone records and perhaps even CCTV of his car has proven otherwise .. perhaps his cell also pinged for a good amount of time (as if he stopped to bury William) in the area of the search today.

Just saw a report on the morning program Sunrise.
They crossed to the reporter in Bonny Hills... said the search was close to BS's property.
He is still a POI.
And police are not necessarily looking for a body.
*they may put a link up on the website?

Surely this isn't a smoke screen the police are trying to create, they really do have no idea :(

The area being searched is part of Queen Lake State forest

http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/police-to...r-missing-william-tyrell-20150301-13s798.html

Between Long Point Road and Houston Mitchell drive.

I'm sorry I'm hopeless with placing Google map images in here. Could our map savvy members place some pins showing Spedding's Bonny hills home in relation to the area being searched? And also distance from william's grandmas house? Thanks in advance.

I feel sick to my stomach... I thought the removal of his grand children spoke volumes it isn't easy to do, court orders and government paperwork takes forever.

The removal of Bayden Clays daughters was set up before he was arrested.

I'm too shaken up right now to say anymore.

This is not what we all wanted to hear this morning :( Happy Monday right!?

I wonder if WS finally came clean with some information which has led to this or if they got a tip off?
Do you guys think the fact that MSM are putting his pictures in the articles means he is definitely involved or they are just playing it up like they do best?

Does anyone know what time the media conference with the police is?

I felt sick seeing these articles this morning.

My theory is that the police have been working very hard linking it all together - have kept a close eye on BS all along - and perhaps photos of William have turned up on sites OS. I'm wondering if they have a confession. All I can think of are the words I got over and over at the time he disappeared "cold stream", which someone on this forum said earlier is an old brand of refrigerator.

I was hoping they would find him alive....

This paragraph:

It is understood police have information that has led to the latest development, which follows excavation of the Bonny Hills yard of tradesman Bill Spedding’s home in January and the search of his Laurieton office. Mr Spedding is a person of interest in the case but has denied involvement in William’s disappearance.

http://www.news.com.au/national/nsw...r-william-tyrell/story-fnii5s3x-1227243896094

I mean .. also this is not inconsistent with all the information we've heard over the last few weeks .. we had:

  • Police wanting everyone in Kendall the day of William's disappearance to come forward (giving BS one last shot to admit his alibi is bogus)
  • Police checking to see if William was smuggled overseas (ie not killed by BS but passed onto someone else who took him offshore)
  • Police searching bushland (Possibility is BS is known to have hovered in the area via cell phone pings AND since William is not offshore after investigating that possibility, the only other conclusion is that he died and BS has disposed of his remains)
I think he's still well and truly in the frame.

TIMELINE: So he ordered a coffee at around 10am right? Next seen at the school rehearsal, wasn't that 12:30pm? How long does that give him, around 2 hours by my estimation, plenty of time to drive to Kendall, for something to happen with William (my thinking is either he hit him with the car as he drove in the driveway by accident, or he is a pedophile and grabbed the boy in an opportunistic manner) then possibly just secret him in the bush, then returned later on to bury him properly.

I had just posted that they received a tip off from the public.....wondering if it was a Crimestoppers tip?
Maybe since LE are searching so close to BS's home MSM is putting the two together? Too much of a coincidence to me IMO. How horrible :(

Oh gosh. It seems like they have some credible source for this. I wonder if they have found something on BS's computer that has made them look here?

I just saw that :(
That could be the case but how much trouble (if any) can MSM get into for posting his photos on such an article without proof? Or are they free to do that because he is a POI?

I have no idea about all of the legal type stuff around that so I am curious whether they'd do that without permission if you get what I mean?
