I wonder if the school presentation was quite a big event; the kind that many parents dutifully attend. If so, then the cafe across the road could quite possibly have been busy that morning, serving those attending the school's event - I know, as a parent, that I'd want to grab a take-out coffee rather than endure school coffee.
I would only find the cafe owner Lisa's non-alibi relevant in this instance, if she was the only member of staff serving that morning. If others were serving too, particularly members of cafe staff who did not know WS previously, then whether Lisa herself saw him is not particularly telling, either way. Jmo.
