Well said ThaiBali. It is in fact a statement of interview, most often recorded and then transcribed. 10 pages, 2 pages, who cares!

I have been interviewed and then attended the police station to make a statement as a witness (just to make that clear :innocent:) and I received a copy of my signed statement.
If BS made a statement would he have got a copy I wonder?

He told Daily Mail Australia Mr Spedding said he had also attended the presentation with a family friend who was taking photos.

Mr Spedding has asked her to review her pictures to see if he is in any of them"

Why hasn't this family friend come forward to the media...even just to say yep...they were there...sorry I didn't get a snap of them...but yes I was with them at the time http://www.theherald.com.au/story/2829478/william-tyrell-septic-tank-drained-cabin-searched/

Yes he would have.

Yes he would have.

Thankyou Makara

So I guess as BS gave interviews and/or 10 page statements. He has a copy of what he said and signed - in his hot little hand (to borrow Colins words).
IMO

Hahaha I was just going to say, if Colin were to get a hold of a copy we would have a heap of good stuff to talk about.

From what I can gather BS spoke to the police on three separate occasions. If he gave a statement, as has been reported in MSM then yes, he would have been given a copy. That same statement is an admissible document in a court of law. It just may come back to bite him.

Let me get that right, he gave a BS statement?

Well, I'm pleased to see William's face is still out there. I've seen numerous Facebook posts/shares in the last week or so from friends over here in the UK who don't share my interest in missing cases. Quite surreal to see him pop up on my feed, but welcomed.

If BS is arrested and charged with William's abduction I think the police will say afterwards that he was their #1 suspect early in the investigation, similarly to the Baden Clay case. They knew GBC did it, they just had to get all their ducks in a row.

Unfortunately pedophiles are cunning, slimy, sneaky weasels and probably a bit smarter than GBC so it is taking more time and effort to dig everything up in this case.

This quote is in reference to Rahma case but it equally applies to to William.

There must always be an element of surprise with our strategies so we cant always let the community know what actions we are taking Det Ins Young said.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...e-believe-close-finding-took-little-girl.html

I was reading one of the recent articles about William and a detective made a similar statement, that they can't give too much away. It was a detective who doesn't normally speak about this case. I wish I could find it. There must be a special strategy for busting pedophile rings.

When they caught onto the pedophile ring in William's investigation I reckon one of the first things they would have done is go through a list of missing children, like we tried to do in this forum.

This is really sinister stuff. I can't believe it could happen in this day and age where people are so vigilant about pedophiles.

I wouldn't even let my mind go there when William went missing because it seemed so far fetched (and awful.)

As it was said in that detailed Australian article, it's a "once in a decade" crime

P.S. I read that article again and bloody Colin gives away who had been making "vexatious complaints" against Spedding. Interesting word, "vexatious". Like I thought, BS has probably convinced everyone that the victims are troublemakers.

I have no intention of stating which schools as it may identify me and the schools I have reason to be in. Many schools restrict parents from using a camera now and instead provide a nominated person to take photographs and parents can then get copies from the school.
School sports days are another venue where some schools don't allow cameras. Taking photos of your child invariably involves other children in the frame, so that is a good reason why.
If yours does, I would not call it rubbish, I would call it an individual policy.

Rubbish, where and what schools in Australia don't allow taking photo's of your Children at an Award Ceremony.

Unfortunately, I think Colin has probably decided by now to stop chatting to people about his mate.

Or one of the Speddings smacked him upside the head and said, "Stop talking to the media, you're making us look really bad."

In this day and age with cell phone cameras I highly doubt any school can keep people from taking photos of their children, policy or not I know that I would not adhere to it, ever. They don't have the right to prevent photos and there are no schools here in my state that have a policy like that...sheesh.

There is absolutely NO way to prevent someone from photographing you or your children, in school, on the street or at the mall....

I did a bit of reading about this, when it was first mentioned. All we had to do in our day was sign a school media policy allowing/disallowing our children’s (named) photos to be published.

It seems that a school(s?) in Victoria is trying to stop parents taking photos that involve children other than their own ... no friends, no group shots, no sports day photos. But as there is no law against it – as long as the photographer is not creating a public nuisance – the parents do not have to abide by the school’s wishes.

In England, however, there are schools that are not allowing any photography, and say that you must purchase photos/DVDs from them. They are citing child protection and data protection laws to back up their policies.

It is becoming so absurd in parts of the UK, that one mother was shocked to see her 4-year old child's nursery school picture, with all of the children's eyes blacked out in the photo.
