Avonte is autistic and non-verbal. He may be in need of medical attention. He was last known to be wearing a grey striped shirt, black jeans, and black shoes.
Avonte Oquendo was last seen after lunch on Friday afternoon leaving the Center Boulevard School located at 1-50 51 Avenue in Long Island City. Avonte is supposed to be given one-on-one supervision at all times but he managed to walk away. An extensive search has failed to find him.
