I can place myself in her mindset as I've been there too but my personal opinion is that this only served to distract her or prevent her taking precautions, resulting in her meeting with foul play.

You could be right. That would certainly make her an exceptionally unlucky young lady. But it could have happened that way.

My hope grows with each passing day there is no body.

;)

I'm just thinking back to times I've had arguments with boyfriends and been a bit intoxicated and ended up going out for a walk to clear my head or whatever. Looking back I was fortunate on those occasions not to encounter anybody who might harm me, but it could've so easily been different and I'm sure it wouldn't have been difficult for such a person to capitalise on my emotional state while my guard was down.

I have lost three friends (one a close relative) to suicide because of broken hearts.

I have several friends who attempted suicide because of relationships.

I have lost one relative who disappeared completely leaving her infant son behind, only to be discovered years later with a new identity and a new family.

It does happen.

I could get on board with the suicide theory... If I could work out where the heck she might've hidden herself to not be found yet.

I remember when I first learned how to fish. A wise old gentleman farmer was teaching me how on a 5 acre stock pond filled with fish. I couldn't catch a thing to save my life. Then he told me something I will never forget:

"To catch a fish you have to be able to think like a fish."

Has anyone here ever had their heart broken so badly they simply wanted to die? Or disappear? I have. I can completely and totally relate to the feeling.

Even though, thankfully, it has been some time back.

I absolutely have. It changed me eternally. Pretty sure it could be a PTSD diagnosis but I'm in denial. ;)

something is jumping out at me on the instagram. The last pics posted on "2013-06-14 05:44 Nashville" With quote "All dressed up and nowhere to go but crazy"

Isnt that the night they had the party? What does she mean no where to go? They were having a party right. And what does "Nashville" mean?

Does she sing? Maybe she followed a dream and went to Nashville? This is a popular travel destination - my husband's favorite and he travels the globe for work.

Nothing to lose, following a dream, could have hopped in a car with anyone.

Though I don't believe this - just throwing it out there.

"All Dress Up and Nowhere to Go" is a song recorded in Nashville in 2007 by the group 'Tragic Romance' and performed by Billy Miles Brooke as the lead vocalist. This was their only album (to my knowledge). He left Tragic Romance shortly thereafter, spent five years in Europe and is now living in Santa Fe, NM.

Could she possibly have been referring to this song? Somehow? I've seen her post the words to a song on Instagram before. She loved to post about movies too, which is why I theorized she might have been watching the movie "Nashville".

Is it too totally wild to think that maybe she could have possibly met Billy Miles Brooke?

Very, very far fetched I'm sure. But then I feel when we know the truth it is going to be like something out of a Bestseller.

When I was Adrienne's age I had met many celebrities. So that would not seem to be a stretch to me.

Hmmmmm.....PTSD. She could be suffering from something like this, actually.

I did not take your post the wrong way. I was simply asking a question, not implying anything. I am not even sure what you meant by assuming I took it the wrong way. I think YOU read something into my post that was not there - you put YOUR intonation and inflection in it. I was asking what you (OR ANYONE READING THIS THREAD) might think about mom, that's all. Did mom know what he daughter might have been going through? Has she spoken about A's alleged depression or distress? I think this is my last post on this thread. I am tired of being attacked or misread.

I will say if they knew something was wrong when she didn't call her dad for father's day, wouldn't this infer she is quite the daddy's girl? The fact she's never NOT call her dad on father's day?

She might have been closer with the Dad than the mom. I know what you mean. Then again, she could have done the same call for her mom every mother's day.

I find it interesting that her missing persons describes her as a "responsible" girl who wouldn't just leave without telling. Then again, that's just circumstancial.

Everyone has great ideas here. This thread also is a good place for us to recognize how we ALL deal with trauma/crimes in our own way.

Some of us get defensive when we are in fear of a MP demise (I do. Lol I won't lie!) - and the general defensive tone that is a natural way of dealing with the subject at hand is sometimes misinterperited as a personal offense.

I think we all are in fear here bc we worry about AS. We all translate that fear into our own grieving language. When I am scared, I fight and have a fighting sarcastic tone in general. I definitely don't fly or try to sugarcoat even.

Lol I need to work on my grieving language.

You guys are doing fine. Trust me :)

When Kortne Stouffer vanished a year ago, and Lauren Spierer two-plus years ago, both had wild, partying nights, involving fights, lost items, drinking, possible drug use and in Kortne's case, visits by the police. It is extremely doubtful, IMO, either woman left on her own. I see Adrienne's case in the same way, i.e I believe her wild night contributed to her disappearing, whether because people she knows are involved or because she put herself in a vulnerable position while under the influence. Any or all three women may be victims of random violence, or any or all three may be victims of their "friends"

ButI don't believe any of them were really in a position to up and take off, and keep themselves hidden away for any length of time.

Seriously, no theory is too far fetched! If we are going to find out where she is, what happened to her, we need to really think "out of the box".

She's been missing over one month. The bad news is there hasn't been a peep out of her or even a reported sighting. The good news is there isn't a body and there is no evidence of foul play. No one saw or heard anything.

We really don't know very much about her. We only know what she's let us know via her SM and what happened to her during those few hours of which events at her party and arguments with her b/f and wrecking her car have been reported to us. We don't know much about her at all. Not really.

We know that she was in a tumultuous relationship with her boyfriend, who had possibly found a new love interest. We know she had Valley Fever back in February and had a collapsed lung. We know she was fragile. (her father said so) That's about all we know.

Not a lot.

Cluciano, we appear to be in two different camps here, with regards to our thinking. And that's okay! One camp believes she may still be alive and the other camp thinks she's dead. I'm in the first camp (very small camp) and you are in the second camp. I know that and I think your reasoning is based on your experience following these cases, as well as the way you process information including your own life experiences. And I respect that!

That's all great! I appreciate the fact that you continue to inform us about other similar cases that you feel are comparable to Adrienne's.

I know you would love for her to be alive but that you don't think that thinking is realistic. I totally get it.

The reason I am beating my drum so loudly is because IF....IF by SOME chance, she really is alive, and she is out there somewhere wondering how to come back, I don't want us to all assume she's dead and not keep thinking of where she could be and why.

Because if we all give up on Adrienne we might miss out on something highly important that could help us to find her if she is still alive!

I hope that makes some sense.

:)

i think thats why the father talks as he does in media, hoping perhaps she hears/reads it and sees that when she comes back, she won't be chastized or in trouble, IF she did perhaps just try to dissapear of her own accord? maybe im wrong in that assertation

Very small - miniscule even - chance that she left voluntarily under these circumstances and in this context. If she did, it was impulsive and the motive was to harm herself in short time. I don't really see the latter happening to tell you the truth. Someone did something to her. That's where the circumstances lead.

IMO.

A wee bit more information regarding video footage and possible vehicle involved... my stomach hurts...

http://www.kpho.com/story/22869930/police-report-sheds-light-prior-to-tempe-teens-disappearance

This is something...

This definitely makes me think she was abducted. Hope they release a picture of the vehicle. For those in the area- where is the auto store in relation to AMPM store?
My current theory- when she was distracted on the phone with the cab company - she was grabbed as she hung up and taken away in the vehicle seen in the surveylance footage.

I may have kind of sort of asked them for a photo of the vehicle.

This still may be someone she "knew" (of)... :banghead:

DANG IT DANG IT DANG IT!!!!

Yikes. This is kind of what I feared. Does not sound good. Wonder if LE just got this video? Are they enhancing it to get more detail on the car?
