I would check all who worked at Oreilly.

If the cabbie was on camera waiting at the AMPM when AS disappeared/was on camera across the street at the auto parts lot I think it serves as an alibi for the cabbie.

If the times are correct, which I think they have been confirmed or calibrated for accuracy before reporting, then she would've been at O'Reilly's for almost 10-13 minutes before confirming to cabbie that she'll 'be there in a minute'.

Doesn't add up.

But the cabbie was waiting on camera the whole time regardless.

I worry that someone at her complex worked at that auto shop. I worry that he offered to help her get her car in/around the shop so she could just go on with her day. I worry that he screwed with her car in the first place, making it impossible to drive and also do he could have an excuse to converse with her as he fixes cars.

Not really. He is confirmed on camera at AMPM but approx. 15 minutes after Adrienne was seen on camera and approx. 13 minutes after the dark sedan was seen pulling into OReillys. Plenty of time to pick her up and constrain her before being seen on camera.

All speculation of course.

No he wasn't. He purportedly didn't arrive at AMPM until well after 5AM. She was last seen 10-13 minutes prior to his AMPM arrival.

I'm gonna go back and read again and recalibrate my brain to the new findings. (thanks shoddy reporting weeks ago that has left me so confused now!)

Yeah, go back to I think page 16 or 17 and read the discussion from last night/overnight. We went into great detail about the new timeline and what it could and couldn't mean. Should help reset your bearings.

It gets confusing. Especially now.

"UPDATE 7/1/13 – The father of the cab driver has come forward to discuss what happened when his son was suppose to pick up Adrienne. According to Thomas Simon, owner of Scottsdale Cab Guy, his son, Tom was on his way to pick up Adrienne and was in contact with her by phone.

Simon said his son called Salinas at 5:04 a.m. and 5:05 a.m. to make sure she was headed to the gas station. He said at 5:06 a.m., Salinas called his son, saying she’d be there in a minute. Then he called Salinas at 5:07 a.m. looking for her, but the phone went to voicemail.
Simon also said his son got out of the cab and looked around for Adrienne but didn’t see her.
Tom’s home has been searched and a DNA sample was taken. Police look very carefully at the last person that is known to have been in contact with the missing person. No word what Tom did after that event, like whether his shift was over or he went home... Etc."

Where did it say he GOT to the AMPM after 5am?

I know he called her from the AmPM after 5am to make sure she was still showing bc he had supposedly been waiting for some time?

The cell phone has not been found.

This is important to know for certain, because if Adrienne's phone had been found it would be sad news for her.

It has not been found. That's all I'm saying about it.

(Good morning!)

Also, the overnight bag that Adrienne packed was found in her room after she went missing. The reporting in that article was a bit sloppy and led one to believe she took it with her the last time she left rather than when she left in her vehicle to go to the BF's house.

But that report directly says it is getting its info from the police report...

All I'm saying is Pooley isn't an investigative officer in this case as much as he is public information officer in this case. He may not be working directly on the case, but he acts as a liaison between LE and the media/community.

  • #536
Yes it does but they didn't report it correctly. Just because they get information from LE doesn't mean they always write it down correctly.

she was seen going 65 miles an hour round rio salado by the woman who was in proximity to her car from hardy all the way to salado to the wrap around to ash.

that car was not impossible to drive IMO, in fact it was going excessively fast and if u note the posts/news about the info it was erratically tailing the woman as well, trying to pass, etc.

the tires blown out as they hit the median as noted by witness. struck the curb on bend and white smoke emitted, and car jett'd from scene of impact. IF she was unaware of tire damage, i would also argue that it would of been a complete surprise and she wouldn't of left area. IF accident was drivers' fault, and she was scared of police/dui etc, she would of left as she did.

did someone make her car have a gas pedal that stuck? i mean, thats more of a possibility than her tires being messed with, imo. and i don't think thats a reality, just saying, lets stick to the facts, its getting crunch time/closer to a semblance of truism, i feel. the window has narrowed on her travels that night.

fact is, we dont know who slender woman in car lot is. we dont have ID on the sedan entered 2 mins later. not yet!

we know the cab was at ampm, without salinas.

do we know where phone was located when found? it went dead, was she just soooo frustrated w night that she, threw it away? i've seen drunk people and just those who have reached boiling point, toss a phone.

LE have got to be DEEP into this car/surveillance at auto parts store, and i think they are gonna figure something from it.

Or cut the brakes/did something to the break pads that made them not able to withstand slowing the car down quick enough if it was traveling faster?

Idk I feel like this new article actually is going by the police report and not by information stated verbally in a conference or meeting. IMO

I wish I could see the video ...
