I still find it interesting today that the report that came out mentioned that according to the police report AS Tires on the driver side both were affected, NOT both front tires as earlier reported.

Also find it interesting that the report noted that police checked the area for the car (after the wreck and 911 call) and found no car. (then Rick found it Sunday at 2pm? Strange IMO)

"An extensive search for a Gateway Community College student who has been missing for more than a month has yielded few new leads for investigators, according to Tempe police reports.

The reports, released Wednesday, provide more details on Adrienne Salinas’ abandoned car and an eyewitness who reported seeing the vehicle driving erratically the night Salinas, 19, went missing.

The eyewitness told police she was driving to start her shift at Starbucks at 3:40 a.m. June 15 when she saw a white car suddenly pull up behind her on southbound Hardy Drive.

She said the car accelerated rapidly and followed close to the back of her vehicle.

The woman told police that as she approached Rio Salado Parkway and turned east, the white car followed her, speeding and tailgating. The woman said she changed lanes and the the white car followed before accelerating to about 65 mph and passing her.

The woman said that as she approached her turn at Ash Avenue from Rio Salado Parkway, she saw ahead of her a large amount of smoke coming from the white car’s tires and dirt in the air.

*The car had hit the east curb in the turn, and both of the driver’s side tires were on the curb, flattened, according to the report*.

The woman told police that she got out of her vehicle to check on the driver but that before she could, the car sped off on the damaged tires southbound on Ash Avenue.

*She called police, who checked the area *but did not find the white car.*

A white 2002 Mercury Sable was found the next day (at 2pm by Rick Salinas) disabled at the corner of Brown and Roosevelt streets, the reports say."

I thought Adrienne was driving a white Buick LeSabre.

  • #804
I wish reporters could keep their facts straight!

''The white Buick LaSabre that Adrienne abandoned is in police custody. A spokesperson tells us there’s no sign foul play took place inside the car.''

http://www.myfoxphoenix.com/story/22...-disappearance

ETA: The article is no longer available but this is the report that did have it, if it was correct. This was actually back on the first thread.

The report is probably not available anymore bc it probably wasn't accurate.

ahhhh......okay. That makes sense. So it was a Mercury for sure and not a Buick? It just drives me crazy all this inconsistency.

:scared:

I think the Bf contacted the roommate just to try to meet up with her and make sure she was okay. He was trying to get her home safely, IMO, but she would not stay in the car.

About Adrienne's cell phone:

One of the questions I have concerning the phone records that LE has, I wonder if there were anymore calls Adrienne made that early morning that were not released to the public. I wish they would release all of her phone records for that morning. It's so difficult to believe she had that accident and called NO ONE else besides the BF. You would think she would have tried to call someone. I can see not calling your parents in the middle of the night, but she had other friends besides the BF.

And if she was on her phone as she walked across that parking lot at 4:52 am, could it be she was talking to someone else on her phone?

I guess I'm just wondering if all the calls made between her and the cab company have been disclosed. Or did they just inform us of the last four?

Take a look at the pic of her car when found. BOTH driver side tires are blown and BOTH passenger tires are still inflated.

Yes as the report now states. We had earlier identified on timelines here for the case archive that her front two tires were deflated bc of the inaccurate reporting at that time. I just hope that aspect of the case archive has been updated, respectively.

Can you post the picture of her car? Ty!

Case archives need to be updated right? When was the last time we updated them?

I forget who was keeping track of this...

Am I the only one that thinks it's strange for the roomie to hop on her bicycle at 3 am to go searching for her when the BF was right there behind her? What was the convo like?

"Okay you go on home. I'll ride over there and find her and then I'll ride back right beside her."

(Or maybe she had a bicycle built for two.)

If I were the roomie I would have said something like: "You stay right with her and I'll be right there. I would have gone in car if I had one...or used someone else's car.

And I probably would have stayed on the phone with the BF just to make sure I knew where she was.

I just find this curious. Not to cast any kind of aspersions on the roommate...not at all. I'm just trying to get a good visual of that night now that we have this new information.

Based on that new information about the tires, it seems the vehicle would have been even more difficult to navigate in.

Agree about BF.
Confused by video in parking lot, since car there looks dark and like a cab... where was her car? Was she taken there in the lot and forced to go into her car? I believe she was in her car and something bad was happening causing her to fight with driver and causing erratic car driving and crashing tires.

Police say that from there, she walked a ¼ mile back to her apartment where she changed clothes, leaving behind her wallet and keys. (9) Witness says “they” in her 911 call. 5:00am – Last seen near Brown & Roosevelt streets. (3) Another reports states last seen at this location at 4:30am (7) -- not sure who she was last seen BY, or if this goes off pings, but this is also the same location her car was found.

This timeline above is very organized and easy to follow. The creator has included quoted information and gives you MSM or LE articles to reference the quotes to with simple numbers. The original poster does not include any rumors, personal theories, or unsubstantiated statements.

A good example of a helpful timeline IMO (has not been updated)
