i think that, a bit of calm and mediation about this case can bring about some semblance of the truth, and we can focus on that last few mins when salinas was not seen, as she reportedly made way to the ampm.

in that new news story from state press, they state that the ampm surveillance covered a large area of that lot and she was NOT seen.

we have read of a group that use psychics pointing police to spots to check; well jeesh, we have pushed ideas and theories that have been leaps and bounds above what the media reported, and nary a whimper of response.
and that was two days after salinas went missing, not a month later.

there is a disconnect of info, from media to police, to community. sure, we are all emotionally vested in this case on webslueths, and are on every point, minute, and timeline fact and theory. but the general public still is left w a tempe gov police page that reads like it was written by a 9th grader who cant pass journalism class.

the emphasis of what happened, after its known she was home and changing, is vital. what is that window of minutes? and where did she disappear to.

this is basic profiling, that needs to be done. what was her room like, what did she leave it as, and from that gather info as to her planning suicide, leave of country, or was in a haste and then those concepts are ridiculous and thus points to abduction by either a person known to her, or not... i think the police had a distinct reason for not just checking that tempe lake once, but twice. correct? didn't they thoroughly go their at the first moment they really pushed this investigation, and didn't they do it again on the neighborhood comb-thru?

i wanna know if there is evidence that pushes a theory of her taking a stroll to take a dive. thats north of her apt, not south towards ampm.

a person who would dump her in the lake, it would be insane to even drive up and put a body in there. has a body EVER been dumped in tempe town lake by another person? or has it all been drunk kids who fall in, or homeless, or city officials? to even imagine someone parking a car and carrying her into the lake, from hardy, is ridiculous. imo. the closest parking lot from her apt is the park near where she hit the median. and even then, its not in proximity to lake.

you cannot drive up to that lake, unless u go onto a pedestrian sidewalk. did someone drive onto a bridge and throw her in? Im throwing this out there, because i want people to really wrap their heads around the extreme difficulty it would take to do that to a body, and while its not fun to imagine, its worth a ponder.

was the police saying, SHE WENT INTO THAT LAKE on her own? or was put into it by a person?

much easier for ANYONE to dump a body anywhere else, than a lake. i just think that the polices' initial reactions show that they thought salinas was drunk and or disorientated, and possibly went into the lake.

no signs of foul play at her car, or room. or the apt. or in the hood where they went thru it. nothing. unless we haven't been told.

IF salinas is alive, my opinion is SHE IS FAR from tempe. the simplest theory and the one that screams out as most logical, is that someone else got her, (in that very small window of time of her calls to cab and her not being picked up by cab,) and thus someone took her someplace; this makes the most sense to me and I wonder if others agree. And, as noted by father, and in aunts' posts, that seems to be the theory of her family as well. why? was there a tip?

cheers webbie sleuths

Yes. Before the lake was built they had to dump bodies in the desert. ;)

I think the cops stated that they didn't have any information to lead them to believe she was in there other than they wanted to rule out the possibility. It would be an obvious deduction if they thought she was drunk and disoriented and had begun walking to her b/f's house. Next to impossible to dump someone into the lake without being caught on cam or noticed.

But she is apparently not there. They searched twice. A body would have surfaced by now.

Million dollar question. Whenever anyone inquires about updates or leads, they are invisible... but we won't rehash that. :)

And I, for one, have to admit I slow way down and look every time I drive by. :(

i gotta say, i think NOW is the time that something happens/comes to surface in terms of info. its been a month plus, my minimal psychic powers are tellin' me that the truth will be come to light soon.

for real, when i went thru that area, when i hit the pavement and trek'd thru my tempe, i got a few vibrations

roosevelt/brown feels as spooky can be, and the street leading up to hardy/brown from east was bizarre.

also, as noted by a previous forum member, i to felt like the whole 7th street to roosevelt, is an odd aside but for some reason my mind keeps thinking about it. esp near the corner by park.

hunches are about all we can go off now. if i have to sit in the park w the ouija board, i will.

Back to the text again:

"Text me once you find it!"

It sounds demanding to me. I wonder if Adrienne had a key to the BF's place. Maybe he had demanded she give him back the key and she said she couldn't find it.

Imagine if it was his key and he's planning to give it to GF!

Please do whatever it takes to find this young lady and then please help us find Lauren Spierer. From what I have read, it appears you have "it". Much obliged!

Yes! Maybe she did have his key to his place and yet with the accident and all, she lost it somewhere. She may have been out in the streets/grass looking all over for it which would put her at risk for sure. Maybe she texted/called him 11 times frantically trying to give him updates about finding the key?

Maybe the key to the BF's place is the answer---maybe that's why she had to go back to his place---to give the key back.

Maybe that's why there was no overnight bag needed anymore. They were breaking up and she just had to give him his key back. 'Just speculating....just moo.

Goblinsolo - I haven't gone by to check - are the old quonset hut type dwellings still on the corner there? How about the "junkyard", which in reality is some family's home (they recently lost their property to the City of Tempe) along the 202 near the river bottom? Curious.

ETA: 302 W 1st St - address of property lost... looking on google earth for the huts (apartments)... just woke up and that area was in my dreams. I am SPOOKED OUT right now. Just found it on google maps (street view) and I'll be darned if the stinking railroad tracks don't run RIGHT BY IT and that was last night's odd "epiphany".

that strange HILLS HAVE EYES type area, is somehow holding on. across from sail inn...

its right near where she got in her wreck w median, and as we have THEORIZED on this forum, she, or whoever was in command of her car at that time, went back to roosevelt/brown via 1st street.

i do believe, thats the area where a girl was raped months (year?) ago, (the guy who did that killed himself in jail, after his arrest.)

its a strange no mans land, mixed with the newer light rail whipping thru as well.

i was gonna possibly head thru the area again, IF the weather isnt too brutal w a possible storm and wind. i will be on mill ave i think, tonight. and definitely take a trip thru 1st onto farmer, if i can! i STILL havent checked the route where i theorized that salinas cut thru brown/roosevelt corner on foot going west to hit her street of brown, to get home.

back to her apt, WHERE NO ONE CAN VOUCH THEY SAW HER. which still is a thorn in my side, as far as believing the people in her circle of friends. did she have another roomie, other than one in news?

I don't look at the lake the same way I used to. Now, even in the heat of summer, it looks so cold...so foreboding.

:(

Okay... *shudder*. You have described it, aptly!

Is that a street? Or more like a footpath route?

back to her apt, WHERE NO ONE CAN VOUCH THEY SAW HER. which still is a thorn in my side, as far as believing the people in her circle of friends. did she have another roomie, other than one in news?

I wondered that as well...

It's raining. Storming outside. Take care, Goblin.
