It is pouring here (Mesa). PLEASE. BE. SAFE.

Okay... *shudder*. You have described it, aptly!

Is that a street? Or more like a footpath route?

I wondered that as well...

She did have another roommate. Don't think I can post the name here but go to the missing fb page and you'll find the comment about how it's not the same when she gets home cause she isn't there. Her profile pic is of her and AS dancing. It's a very sweet pic actually

I think this is a very important observation, kymas3434! I commend you. I haven't seen this discussed here before.

Interesting to note that all of their texts (the ones we can see here) are very late at night. The one you refer to from Adrienne saying "I wanna see you soon so we can talk" indicates to me she had something very important she wanted to discuss with him. Then he texts her back saying: "Text me once you find it!" (with an exclamation point - the exclamation point should be noted because kids do not normally use punctuation in their texts) Adrienne responds by texting Francisco back 3 minutes later saying "Got it :)" This indicates to me she acknowledged that he wanted her to "text" him rather than call him, adding a 'knowing' smiley.

What was it he wanted her to text him about once she found it?

Sand, yes, I too wonder if there are missing messages. But wouldn't LE have the records of any texts that had been sent? And if someone was going to delete messages, why not delete them all.

I agree it looks suspicious! I also think it's strange that there are so few text messages between them and this is also indicative to me that they didn't have much of a relationship at this point in their young lives. Kids these days prefer texting to talking on the phone. This is their preferred method of communication.

What was it he wanted her to find? What did she want to talk to him about?

Another thing I noticed just now about the text messages.... If they found her car the next day why would he text her " call me when you can" does this mean call me when you get to your destination etc? I'm very interested in these texts. My opinion is he knows where she is.

Can't find it, HOWEVER - the final comments beneath the ORIGINAL cover photo (with the other girl and the baby) are VERY interesting. *raised eyebrow* July 9...

Got it. And the ones of mine that haven't been deleted are usually right before or after yours. ;)

i posted two pics of the 'route' as i envision it, on the 2nd forum of this topic, we are onto 3rd! hah! i don't know what page it was on.

i definitely think you can cut thru the apts there. im 99% sure! and anyone who lives in this part of tempe, knows interesting routes to take.

how long, has adrienne lived in tempe? HERES MY INTEREST, in that. BECAUSE, IF, if she just moved to hardy/brown area, she might of not been as familiar w the streets, and could of wandered into some desolate or weird areas without even knowing. IF she knew the area well, my bet is much much more on someone who knew her, apprehending her at first, with say a casual ride and then it turning nefarious.

so, to my mind its 3 options, actually.

1. she got lost in the neighborhood IF she was new to area, and did something ridiculous like walk thru that park at 4-5am, or down 7th street. and then it could of been a stranger danger...

2. she knows the area, shes lived in it for some time and wouldnt veer off to get that cab at ampm, she would of headed directly that way. ONLY a person who knew her location at 4-5am time frame, someone from party or in area, could of easily confided in her to take a ride, and casually offered a lift to get her to her bfs...OR, they could of taken her by force as well. but, this would still infer that they were close to her apt and she wasn't far away, they scoped or stalked her from previous that night....familiarity to her apt and that she was in that proximity, is key to this theory.

3. she ran away, either to hurt herself, disappear, or some other reason? this isn't dependent on her length of living time in area.

***************
i hope, my 3 thoughts above aren't too redundant or ridiculous...

Okay! This photo that you posted? This lot is where the Quonset huts I was referring to used to be. Hmmmmm

yes, across from park. has even MORE gates and weird trash too. i pontificated my theoretic thoughts about it on my last trek thru the area, its desolate. lots of strange lumps of garbage and trash...

why salinas would of even walked by it, wouldnt make sense. ampm is on east side of street, her apts are on east side of hardy/roosevelt

SO, IF she walked by it, would be absolutely weird. but, in this whole missing case of salinas, weird is the question and the answer, well.. im fairly certain it might be incredibly, simple?

Well... I could share some very disturbing experiences that occurred inside those quonset huts (can still smell the stale urine and beer... uuuugh); if negative energy can be harnessed and maintained, there is very bad juju there. Avoid.

Let's just agree she didn't go near it. <3

Simple is good... unfortunately nothing about this case seems to be simple.

Yes! I read that text "call me when you can" over and over and over. He must have sent that after her dad called him. But what does that mean? Again, the terminology just seems all wrong.

I would think he would have sent a text something to the effect of:

"What happened to you?" or "Hey! You said you were coming over." or "Sorry I missed you. Call me." Anything but "Call me when you CAN"

Again, I do not think the b/f is a suspect at all. I just think the texts are very strange. And I think his actions can be relevant to her behavior. I would be very hurt if I had been in Adrienne's shoes. And I think her 'frame of mind' is very very important. This is why I think the texts are important. She may have felt a great deal of rejection for a very long time.

If it were really simple, I think we would know by now.

And yet I still feel we are overlooking something, as you stated earlier, that is right under our noses.

Granted, if she was abducted, her abductor could have come from anywhere, behind a tree, from under a rock, out of a car, a neighboring apartment ...

I still think the odds are against that. Back to odds. Most crimes (if it was a crime) are committed by family members, friends and associates or romantic partners.

I'm just not picking up on 'random'. It seems to me that too many other horrible things happened that night for her to have been so unlucky that she also got snatched up.

Something doesn't fit!

Maybe he assumed she'd blown off coming over and was at work... ?

I wonder how many times in the past she had called him eleven straight times in a row at 3:00 am ?

I always go back to my mom, telling us that nothing good ever happens after midnight...

By now, LE knows if she had contact with anyone else in that final hour or so, and they are not acting as though she did, IMO. I am leaning toward a random crime, due in part to the time of night, the location (near an all-night market, which can be scary places) and lack of evidence in the apartment. I think she was the one in touch with the cabbie and meant to get to the cab and meant to get to the BF's.

Good point... then again, maybe he didn't realize it prior to texting? On my phone, if someone calls me repeatedly (usually my progeny ;) ) It shows I missed a call. I have to navigate to the call history, tap her name and THEN it shows me she called eleventybazillion times. ;) I wonder....

That's because she saw the movie Cinderella! Actually lots of good things happen 'after midnight'.

No...the boyfriend had to have known she was not scheduled to work that Sunday when he sent the "Call me when you can" text message. That was after noon. He stated he had no contact with her after she sent him the "I'm coming over" message. The father expected her to spend the day with him. He called the roomies, he called the boyfriend. The boyfriend surely didn't think she was at work.

So...again...why the "Call me when you can" text?

Sorry to be so anal but I'm looking for theories.

Thanks Sand! :)

I don't know...why is it such a strange request? He had not heard from her, so he assumed she was busy, sleeping, doing something else, etc.. So "call me when you can" sounds okay to me.

Not usually out on the streets, under the influence...which was Mom's concern.
