And it would have been from 3:30am Saturday morning to 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon that her car was not accounted for after the wreck before being found.... Well over 24 hours.

I just... I don't think it would hurt anyone if LE checked out all towing companies that work that area and also all the employees at Oreilly's

2hip, IF they can see surveillance of a 4door dark sedan 2 mins prior, AND salinas in the same west entrance, why do you think they wouldnt of seen a white car matching salinas enter that lot? being towed?

Those cameras typically don't catch much which is why I find it a miracle in the first place that with the limited scope of CCTV cameras they were able to get a glimpse of her. It's not as if the camera can see the entire parking lot.

And also everyone had said earlier how she sped off from the wreck... So if she could speed off from it then I'm assuming her car was operable enough at that point to get 1 mile away to the auto shop.

And thing is if the camera is facing the west area of the lot, I'm assuming that's where the front of the business is facing right (front doors)? Typically you have one CCTV camera by law in retail businesses the face out the front doors of the business and they are installed around the area of the clerks desk. It is by law for the safety of the clerk.

i am being argumentatively a friendly devils advocate to your theories, at this point, bear with me.

they have footage of BOTH entrances of this lot, so unless it was helicopter dropped from the sky into the middle of the lot, how would her car get there and not be seen on camera?

the cameras are good enough north side to see a dark 4door sedan, they are good enough to see a slender woman enter on west side entrance. both entrances.

From the looks of her tires in the photo of her car after it was found, I don't know how she could have 'sped off'. Could be just the terminology the 911 caller used. Not really all that accurate possibly. I read just yesterday that both blown out tires were on the driver's side. That would make it even more difficult to navigate in.

Speeding off on your rims? Very difficult, especially if you are a 107 lb young girl with health issues and anebriated as well.

;)

Are there two cameras on the lot or one camera from an adjacent business additionally facing the Oreilly's lot plus the camera for Oreilly's? 2 cameras? Why would oriellys need 2? Im Just lost.

Most cameras are not parking lot cameras. They are inside the business and if you are lucky you can catch someone waking by in the lot with what little visibility of the lot you have.

I'm also sure if the cameras were so advanced/thorough in imaging they would have been able to determine if it were AS or not.

heres 4 new ones of pics

east side of biz, NO ENTRANCE. northside of building. loading/back doors. not customer access. north side, no entrance. north entrance, door to store inside parking lot.

we don't know exact location of cams, but any car left there, wouldnt be left there for tire repairs, they dont do that there. and it would of been seen in the lot.

i dont follow the theory of her going there for car repairs. i wanna know IF thats her on camera, and details of cabbies history

Omg so the report with the video won't play on my phone (figures) and so many things in it don't add up to the report just last night or the reports weeks before. It's all become one big game of telephone and I fear at this point that if we can't get the police report we will never be able to understand what truly happened that night.

Sigh. Can we please stop talking about everything that happened before - like the wreck or her car? We now have a timeframe with which to work. Muddying up the thread with theories that includes anything prior to her being seen walking and the sedan being seen turning in, is doing us little good.

Also, an actual confirmed and tripled-down upon report from a journalist that the phone has been found - with no redactions or refutations from police or other journalists - is good enough for me. A non-verified insider making a counterclaim on a message board is not as trustworthy as actual reporting, IMO.

She could have driven her car to as close to that lot as possible maybe ... Hm. Idk I still think there's something going on with the car.

I disagree tonto. we need a police report bc we clearly cannot trust the media to give us the actual information.

Speed or no, she drove off from the wreck. No reason to think the witness is lying.
It may have seemed she was driving fast considering she had just wrecked at high speed.

I wish LE would clear the cab driver, instead of saying he is not a suspect. Anyway, he IS a POI, as far as being the last person to be in contact with her. JMO

I'm glad at least we have the video from the media, but at this point they've blown their reporting of this case IMO. I want the police report now. I think we are spinning our wheels bc we are going off of what the media has asserted and then amended time and time again.

It's gotten to the point that I've been taking considerably more breaks from this case to go sleuth cases with evidence that is backed up and released by LE and is untainted by the medias misgivings of the facts.

And Tom Simon, for the record, runs his company with respect for the law and the patrons.

http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/state/arizona-cab-limo-drivers-subject-to-random-drug-tests

"Governor Jan Brewer signed the law earlier this month.
Thomas Simon, owner of Scottsdale Cab Guy, already drug tests his drivers.
"Safety is probably number one with us and most cab companies. You have someone in your cab, you're responsible for them," said Simon.
He thinks the law is a good start, but it doesn't go far enough.
"The law says nothing about what you do if somebody is found doing drugs," says Simon.
Simon, whose customers often grab a cab because they're too intoxicated to drive, says the new standards are reassuring.
"It makes perfect sense. If you have a can driver that's a little bit sketchy, you want to make sure that he's not doing anything and getting behind the wheel, and taking that chance," said customer Joe Kurrasch.

Cab owners will have to shell out some extra cash to drug test their employees, but Thomas says it's worth it.
"What is the cost if a driver goes out and gets in an accident, and is impaired?"
