You are right. I don't think anyone said they specifically saw her come back. I think LE said that she came back because her keys and overnight bag were there. And that the dress she was wearing when she left was also there. I argued the same point a while back.

Yup! Thank you!

The only idea they have that she went back were those items being replaced at the apartment. No one saw AS in the apartment when they were replaced.

Good grief! LE says she went back to the apartment and changed clothes after the wreck. Case closed.

  • #43
Sorry guys I just HAD to correct that.

The wreck and AS not being seen after

Also, the dress that LE thought she changed out of once she got back from the wreck:

The dress actually is the outfit she changed out of when she was packing her bag to leave for Scottsdale BEFORE the wreck.

In reality, the only things that were replaced now are 2 things: her wallet and her keys.

See how her roomies screwed up the entire investigation/timeline by leaving out that RF saw AS go inside to pack her bag and changed before the wreck?

This is why every single detail matters in a case like this.

We don't know that anything was "left out" of anyone's version. We simply get different parts each time from the media. They may well have told all to LE the first time they spoke with them.

There is an inconsistency here nonetheless.

One roommate SD claims when AS left that she was wearing the same outfit she had partied in that night (leading LE to believe AS had changed/came home after the wreck)

It could indeed just be bc the first Roomie SD was tanked and didn't remember the sequence of events properly ;)

I would think RF would remember riding her bike to find AS only to see her sitting on the grass in front of her apartment upset. The fact we didn't hear this HUGE piece of information in the beginning, let alone anything from RF, really brings my creep-o meter up. We Just get this huge info From RF Almost a month later? IMO.

In fact the last person to "see" her most likely was the witness of the wreck...

Her last known acquaintance (that will talk) to come into contact with AS was Rebecca Flores.... Although in early reports her other roomie DG claimed she saw Adrienne in the apartment before AS left and got in her wreck. Why the media and police reports no longer support/utilize her story I'm assuming it might have been bogus or LE doesn't find DG to be as credible anymore for whatever reasons (maybe she was just simply too drunk to remember the facts).

By DG are you referring to SD? Just curious because it's these little details that can really confuse the issue.

IMO

Duh SD! Earth to me. Lol sorry ;)

Missed you sand :)

Just because we did not hear something sooner does not mean it was not told promptly to LE. And really, I do not see how these little bits and pieces affect how to locate her now.

I am sure LE is well aware of inconsistencies, if there are any, in their stories. And yet it has not helped to locate her in five-plus weeks.

Let's hope this case does not go the way of Lauren S.'s, where many people feel the people she was with that night have the answer, as if so, they have not been inclined to speak out in over two years.

I am not getting the same vibe from Adrienne's disappearance, as LE seems to believe she was out and about on foot in the wee hours. I also think they believe she is the person on the tape, or why release it (the info) all? They did not ask for the person on the tape to come forward.

Have any lawyer'ed up like happened in Lauren's case?

  • #52
Steve, how would we know if they have?

  • #53
Big difference between Lauren Spierer's case and this case is that Lauren was in the company of her "friends" almost the entire night, it was just when she left the place she was last at that she very quickly seems to have vanished. Coincidentally, IIRC, it was about the same time ~3am where last person to see said he saw from his window...

Poor Arienne was alone, on the streets for about 1.5hours in who knows what of state - so very vulnerable IMO to random attack.

That's something we seem to missing in this case, LE holding press conferences telling us things like that... That's how we learned about everyone getting lawyer's...
Also, CMIIW, don't hear LE requesting public to specifically be looking for anything, or making repeated request for people to come forware... I might have missed it...
Not knocking LE... when LE is not asking for allot of help, or telling public to be careful there's a nut on the loose - it means they are pretty sure they know who did it and are working on that...

"Not knocking LE... when LE is not asking for allot of help, or telling public to be careful there's a nut on the loose - it means they are pretty sure they know who did it and are working on that..." That is definitely the sense I have about this and the bits of information they are releasing.

That just is not true, though I wish it were. In many cases, now long cold, LE has told the community NOT to worry, it is an isolated event, etc...and yet never made an arrest. Kyron's case is one, Dylan's another. And in the case in Texas with the murdered little girl, LE said this at once, leading all to believe an arrest was pending. Now weeks later, they are telling the community they are out of leads.

You just can't go by what LE is saying or not saying. No LE likes to tell the community a predator is on the loose. The only one I can think of when they did is Jessica Ridgeway's murder.

It is my opinion that the part of the original statement "it means they are pretty sure they know who did it and are working on that..." is fairly accurate in this case.

I completely agree. I most definitely get the feeling they are 'zeroing in and don't want to compromise their investigation by telling us too much.

;)
