was actually enroute to downtown phx and the weather just made it all rather lousy on the vigil night

...at the oreillys parking lot, did u note the dumpster in northwest corner? it struck me as being of interest.

oreillys seems to have a lot of car/trucks parked in that lot (service/delivery vehicles,_ and i cant imagine someone pulling in their and being able to find a space towards entrance, who knows. on cam, we have no idea what is shows at oreillys, or if its even relevant/

a vehicle would have to exit, as well as enter. a person entering, would also have to enter.ext.

a car entering, a woman entering, a car leaving, and no woman, would be a really bad scenario in this situation.

the logistics of those security cams, and IF they are relevant, keeps me from moving forward with other theories until they are dissproved or negated. until then, im stuck on that parking lot.

I took some really good pics of O'Reilly's last night. I did see the old white wooden dumpster you refer too. It gave me chills to look at it. But I felt certain LE searched it, at least they surely did when they began searching. ;)

The store was still open when I was there. They were open long after closing time in fact. I don't know why. I sat there looking around so long that one of the employees, a guy with a long ponytail, came out and inquired why. I told him I was lost.

What struck me most about the parking lot is how brightly lit it was. It was lit up like a Xmas tree in fact. I wonder if those big bright lights are on a timer or if they stay on all night. It was like daylight there.

I did notice there is a Bus Stop right out in front of O'Reillys as I had wondered about this before. I stopped to get a photo of it and a guy came up and scared the bejezus out of me. He asked for a ride...I said no. I couldn't get my window up and my doors locked fast enough.

More later...

Could the boyfriend have admitted something in the car about an affair? Could Adrienne have then returned to her apartment in an angry rage, confronting the other person who was getting her boyfriend's attention or fooling around with him? Could a struggle have ensued at her residence, and a cover up initiated after this?

Not discrediting your theory - just discussing...

I believe forensic were done at the apt...

Would be interesting to know if LE took photos of BF, GF to show they did not any marks/bruises...

I think if either were involved, they'd be arrested by now or at least be under allot of calls to come down the station...

Same with cabbie - cab was checked...

That long exposure time, alone for about 1.5 hours in wee hours and in vulnerable state ...

All most interesting! Thanks!

BBM - can only think how vulnerable a gal on foot, in weak condition would be at 3-4am!

Re: Adrienne packing an overnight bag:

Is this a cover up in order to make it appear she was leaving voluntarily (red herring), or did she really pack one? If so, maybe she was trying to get to another girlfriend's house?

Also can't help but wonder if she thought another girl was at her boyfriend's house?

All confused....still going around in circles...

We discussed that ^^^ earlier (way back)... a few of us agreed that at that age, we would have gone over there in a heart beat, Annie bar the door!, if we had thought there was another female there or that he was "ignoring" our calls. We'll call it baby estrogen induced psychosis...

Maybe she wasn't trying to get to the boyfriend's house, but rather to the "other woman's" house, to confront them, see if they were together? Maybe this is why she was frantically calling her bf a million times..."Where the hell are you? Are you with her? Well, I'm going to find out!"

  • #127
I don't believe that someone else called the BF eleven times from her phone,.

The lighting... that is a VERY good question because the lighting, if it were really bright, might indicate it was a "safe place" to go. Assuming it was Adrienne on the video footage, of course. If it was not, that might be why the slender female was walking that route... bright and "safe".

Quoting myself for reference to add that I'm speaking from experience here. My bf didn't come home one night. I had a "feeling" he was with "her"...I traveled all night trying to find out where this girl lived. I had to know the truth. I found her house. Sure enough, he was there. :( (And if I hadn't gone to the lengths to find this out on my own (walking, searching in the middle of the night!!), he would have lied to my face the next day and come up with some excuse with his oscar award winning acting skills).

I was headed to northern Utah. ;)

%^&*$#@$, still makes me furious 15 years later just thinking about it!
(Wish I could tell you guys what unfolded after that :floorlaugh: <don't worry, she's not missing, nor is he hahahaha>

Actually the entire area around there is very bright. Even last night in the storm it was bright. After driving around the area, up and down Hardy several times, I got a very good feeling for how a young woman might have felt walking there. I would have definitely walked on the right side of the street (west side). This would be the safe side to me, as the buildings are more 'set back' than on the left, the side the AM/PM is on.

That would explain to me why she crossed over. Also, it should be noted that in between Brown (where her apartment is) and University (where AM/PM is) there are many many apartments on both sides of the street.

I still don't understand why she would enter that parking lot, if it was her. And as bright as it was last night, if a vehicle was spotted on a surveillance cam I am sure it would be easily identified. Same thing with a woman walking. You would recognize them.

Way, way, way bright! We don't have nearly that kind of lighting where I live. I stopped at Basha's on my way home to pick up something. The parking lot was so dark it was spooky.

Gee! I'm jealous! When ever I met someone new, previous GF simply said good riddance! :floorlaugh::floorlaugh: Actually, truth be told, I never was that lucky to have one, then another gal interested in me at one time... :crying:

It's so interesting how different females will react when confronted with the same basic situation when confronted with a cheating BF. I had one friend who kicked the door down and pulled the new GF out by the hair. The BF had to fire a gun into the air to stop the fight.

Another friend of mine reacted in a completely different way...taking an overdose and having to be hospitalized.

Jealousy and despair can take on so many different forms.

Great observations! Tells allot - for one, your feeling about which side of the road is the safe side. Indicates she was paying more attention to her safety than I originally thought.

Any chance the bright lights are new, after this happened to AS?

Wonder about the kind of surveillance cam used - should have better images with all that light?

  • #137
I can't help but wonder if the surveillance footage at O'Reilly's could turn out to be similar to how LE said Terrilynn Monette was captured on footage "turning left on Marconi" (which later proved to be inaccurate).

I can't help thinking this either, but then as Terrilynn's was the first case I really felt 'attached' to I don't know if that's distorting my thoughts on surveillance footage generally.

I'm trying to remain open minded about whether it's AS or not until we have some further information.

  • #138
I'm curious as to why they haven't released the video at O'Reilly's so that maybe the person walking recognizes themselves and comes forward to say if she saw anything walking near the area the same time AS was in the area.

All kidding aside, I remember that feeling of true love and being hurt, deceived, lied to, cheated on....(here I am with candles and dinner waiting on the table, he says "I'll be home in a few honey, I love you :puke:) that feeling of wondering where he is, is he hurt in a ditch somewhere? Did he have an accident? That's the worst feeling in the world. Not knowing...

So, back to Adrienne, I'm thinking about her mindset. She was obviously very very upset. About something.

Whether or not this has anything to do with her disappearance is a mystery, as it is likely IMO she was met with foul play by someone not known closely to her, crime of opportunity.

Do we know each other? :floorlaugh: That's pretty much what happened! :floorlaugh: Serious!!!
