Whenever I have called a cab, I have been put on hold, sometimes more than once, while they determine who can pick me and when. So three minutes or so does not alarm me, especially at that hour when they want to make sure it is a real call, not a joke.

Well, if this were the case, wouldn't LE have a record of a call to another cab company and wouldn't they have interviewed that company too? Why only tell of calls to this cab company if there were calls to another one? I'm trying to get my head straight on this.

Indeed they would, and it is doubtful they would keep it close to the vest. I would say it would be a crystal clear part of the timeline for everyone to consider. In fact, if another cab company was so clearly involved in this scenario, I would bet my left n...







...ickel that there would be an arrest by now.

While I still believe my initial gut reactions to this case, I have to question and rule out any other possible scenarios. It is very possible she called several cab companies. Yes, LE would have those records. They may have less than honest logs/info from that company however. LE may still have very little to go on if it was another company. Every company will run differently and many have less than honest record keeping.

I question why she would leave her "big over night bag" at the apartment. This is a big puzzle piece to me. It may be nothing but on the other hand if there is sufficient evidence it could hint that Adrienne never left the apartment eta; or planned on returning prior to catching the cab.

But you were probably not calling a little mom & pop or son & pop company. You were probably calling yellow cab or similar. These mom & pop companies use their cell phones and would be much less likely to put someone on hold for that long. Also, wouldn't the dad have used that in his excuse for why it took so long if that was so often the case? JmHO

So maybe there's more that we don't know?

Anywhoo----> wondering if they noticed a change in her texting style towards the latter part of the night (wee hours)?

I worry that some creep had her phone.....at the end, pretending to be her making the calls/texts. Which is sad to even think about.

Honey, just wanted to remind you that Adrienne didn't text "I'll be there in a minute." to anyone. She was reported to have said that on the cell phone to the cab driver. She texted "I'm coming over." to the BF at 4:43 am.

there was only one text, the one to her bf saying she was coming over. one of her roommates said on video that adrienne "was bad with texts" and didn't text much. everything else was in phone call form.

It's another discrepancy that came out tonight. In reviewing the timeline, it would appear AS tried to call FA about 11 times between 4:07 to 4:17 am. When she couldn't get him to answer, she called for a taxi just before 4:23 am since that was the time the cab co. called her back.

Agreed, yet still I refuse to use poor grammar or spelling. "You" is spelled with three letters for example. Personal preference not to appear lazy and/or illiterate I guess. I realize people used to use texting shorthand to save on units burned thru per page sent but ... well O/T so I'll stop there. personal pet peeve of mine. sorry.

Brainstorming re-cap: So, she chatted with cabbie dispatch (whoever that is) at 4:23-4:27am-ish, and what happened after that for the next 40 mins? Where was she at that hour? Why get picked up at AMPM at that hour?

All the calls to BF, the high priority to to get to talk to him, she was desperate to get back to him. She had her mind set on it.

If the cab company quoted her 20 mins, or another company quoted her 20 mins, she was out the door and headed to meet the cab. IMO

So she talks to dispatch at 4:23-4:26 and is told it'll be 20 min before the cab can come.

At 4:43 she texts the bf to say she's coming.

Sounds like the cab was on time to me just going by what we have.


The question is more wtf happened from there, IMO, and why did her phone and the cab driver's phone keep on communicating back and forth around 5am?

I don't, sorry, I must have missed it. I only know what I saw on NG tonight and what I've read in MSM but I haven't followed this case as closely as you so if you say it, I am sure you're right.

ETA - on NG tonight they said breaking news, we now know she called her BF without him answering 32 times beween 410 and 450am, and texted him once at 443am to say she was coming over, and called the cab company/cab driver 7 to 10 times.

So thats' what I was going by. No clue about what she sent before 410 though.
