I guess I should say they can't touch it unless they have probable cause - like a smell or visible blood, etc. Otherwise they would need a warrant or permission from an officer/legal rep of the company.

the LE didnt need anything to go to peoples' doors at 5am in tempe, with 30 deputies and 'ask' if they could look around their house.

its so very strange, how delicate LE is being with certain individuals, but the neighborhood? nah, they got treated like warsaw poland, ww2

well, what company is it that owns these cars? Find me a business registered in the state of AZ that owns this company. I am stumped.

And yes, I was referring to Adrienne's father upthread when I mentiond who was clear IM MY BOOK. My dad is clear too, though. =)

Interesting question though. No I have to figure out why you asked.... hmmmm...

The cab driver's father owns the company and is the dispatcher. So, he would also own the cars I would think. Am I missing something? (probably :blushing: )

PS you said "in the state of AZ"... check NM too, JMO.

I just wanted to make sure you were not referring to the 'other dad'. No not yours. LOL!

Dad would obviously want his son to be un-distraught ASAP so I"d think he'd let 'em investigate all that ASAP so they can be cleared.

If I had cops suspecting me of something, and the rest of the world, and I didn't do that something, I would try to do what it took to prove it, then I'd probably give 'em hell. But proving it comes first. That's easy enough... let LE take a peek-a-doodle-doo.

IMO

The thing is that with a company you're not just making decisions for yourself or your son - you're making decisions for the whole company. Often, when there are legal issues involved, criminal and don't forget civil, an attorney already on retainer will advise on this issue, and will generally recommend against cooperating without a warrant or some form of compulsion - innocent or no.

This is creeping me out so much I'm gonna have to take a nice long break. I might be back much later tonight. Keep trucking!

He eventually went home. I wonder how long that 'eventually' took. Okay...logging out now. Eventually.

Do we know what time driver was on camera at the market?

Is there another similar market nearby? Did A head for the wrong one? Is that maybe not her in the video? Is it at least possible she really was no where to be found when cab finally arrived?

So the cab company owner's son is "too distraught"? And Rick Salinas, who has most likely lost his daughter permanently, is able to talk to the media, give interviews, appear on television? And that's normal?

I am sure the answers lie with the cab driver, at least from what we know. This is so hinky, IMHO.

Interesting news story retweeted by cabbie in October 2012.

http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-20026856

Uh... wow. Interesting that this gets a retweet but the disappearance of a girl in the local area doesn't warrant a mention.

:fence:

Also, on NG, they said it was her only car key. ( which is kind of odd...)

Do they mean that this was the only key she had in her possession? I've always given my spare to someone so they could bail me out if I locked my keys in the car (for example). When I was younger it was my dad or my room mate, nowadays it's my other half. I assume LE have ruled out the spare being with one of the room mates for them to say this... although I guess it's possible that she never actually had a spare (although that definitely seems odd to me).

I wish Nancy Grace, et al. would spotlight these missing persons cases rather than focusing on trials already in progress. It would be much more interesting and helpful at the same time, even if I wasn't on WS.

I figured his main interest in that story was the cab driver part.
I am pretty sure no one in the apt. had a key, maybe her father had one.

I always wondered about cases like this:

Why does an arsonist show up at the scene of the fire and observe?

Why does a murderer attend the funeral of those that he murdered and just observe?

......and in that same vein, why would a guilty party post on social media about his theories (about himself) speaking about himself in the third person? To just sit back, confuse people and observe?

I wonder why LE doesn't have press conferences and instead chooses to go on shows like NG? I mean, they could really clear a ton of things up and potentially even get better assistance from the public. Makes little sense.

Well, unless they know what's up and are only going through the motions until they get what they need.
