The more I think about it, the more I take LE going on the NG show as a bad sign, evidence-wise. No reason for them to do that, if they were just in the stages of preparing a case. Mostly, she can't get LE on there, unless they are desperate.

But maybe it is because she is still missing. That would be one valid reason, regardless of the status of the case.

Perhaps LE was hoping to trip up some key players by the NG show?
And "trip" they did!

All these media interviews can and will be used in court. Baiting a suspect in this way could be strategic.

Unless they are absolutely certain that a particular cat that we have been discussing is not involved, then I don't see how they could be desperate. Heck, even if they are certain he is not involved, they have a slew of potential suspects directly involved in the background of her disappearance one way or the other.

I don't think this is random, and I don't think they do either. As such, I doubt they are desperate. If they were desperate, they would be all over the local media and giving frequent press conferences to their own community. They haven't done this, which leads me to believe that they are only going on shows like NG because they were invited. Just as they are only giving interviews/information to local press when asked.

Check missing fb. Cab driver has been cleared

That is the same media source who said the phone was found...LE said it has not been found.

You can discuss the clues that he mentioned in the MSM report, but you can't start sleuthing him, his background, his family/friends or his dog.

Bumping this to remind everyone you can discuss what is known thru main stream media and law enforcement. This is the rules discussing the cab owner & driver.

Sgt Pooley is Tempe PD media liason.

After reading one of Goblin's posts (perhaps since deleted ...?) I have no doubt in my mind any longer. Have to concur with the thought process most of you are having. Thinking LE is just wrapping up some loose ends and of course hoping to actually FIND Adrienne to cement the case. I am enjoying reading all of your posts and it is fascinating seeing the thought process you all have! What a great group.

"Police released a timeline Wednesday that filled in many blanks about Salinas’ disappearance and once again pleaded to the public for help in finding her. Pooley said police have chased some false leads to rule them out, including a report that a woman resembling Salinas was seen begging for money as a homeless person in Sedona.

But Pooley still encouraged the public to report anything that they might think is related to Adrienne’s disappearance or whereabouts."

<snip>

"The timeline has new details into the frantic moments before Adrienne Salinas dropped off the radar when her phone either was shut off or ran out of power.

They include that Salinas made 32 calls to her boyfriend’s cell phone between 4:10 a.m. and 4:50 a.m. on June 15."

<snip>

"Two people reported seeing her drive away at 3:40 a.m.,"

<snip>

"Pooley said the party started at about 10 p.m. and lasted until about 5 a.m. He said 40-50 people attended the party and police have interviewed 37 of them."

<snip>

"The timeline police released:

2:30 a.m-- Salinas leaves with boyfriend for Scottsdale.

3:22 a.m.-- Boyfriend calls Salinas’ roommate, saying she is walking home from Rio Salado and Mill Avenue.

3:30 a.m.-- Salinas arrives home and tells roommate she is driving back to boyfriend’s house.

3:35-3:40 a.m.-- Salinas packs overnight bag and drives away.

3:44 a.m.-- Witness reports Salinas crashing her car at Rio Salado and Ash Avenue. Car later recovered next day at Roosevelt Street and Mill Avenue with two flat tires.

4:10-4:50 a.m.-- Salinas calls boyfriend 32 times but he doesn’t answer, tells cops he was sleeping.

4:23 a.m. -- Salinas calls for a cab.

4:43 a.m.- Salinas texts boyfriend to say she is on her way to his house.

4:53 a.m. -- Cab drivers calls Salinas when he can’t find her at convenience store at Hardy and University drives. He tells her she is on her way.

5:06 a.m. -- Cab drivers says he calls Salinas but no one answers. Her phone goes dead."

I think any reward has to include payment for info leading to Adrienne and/or a perp, not just for her safe return at this point.

Check missing fb. Cab driver has been cleared

Not buying it. Going to need some confirmation other than an unsourced/unlinked statement on a facebook page.

LE just released a new timeline today to media. They did not take the opportunity to mention he's been cleared in the hours since LE was on Nancy Grace last night. IMO, if he/they had been/ LE would've said so.

So when was the last call made from her phone? Is that still 5:06? The article says cabbie called her at that time, but she did not answer.

From this link:

"Salinas’ other roommate said she saw Adrienne go up to her bedroom briefly once she went inside. Salinas then left the apartment after packing a small bag but she did not give them any instructions to care for her dog, which she normally would do if she expected to be gone for a long period of time."

How do they know she packed a bag if she left it there? Call me confused but I have thought she packed the bag when going to the BF's house with him the first time, not when she was trying to get back after she drove off herself. Shoddy reporting, confusion on roommate's part or am I understanding this wrong?
