I wonder if she told TS about her wreck when she dispatched the cab? She did talk to him right?

He took a lot of calls, according to the post from Cab Guy, so I doubt they were just chatting. And she was busy dialing the BF a lot during that half hour.

I could tell you a lot in (4 mins) when I was 19yrs old, drunk, just had a fight with my BF and walking the streets irritated and possible scared.

Another question that's bugging the heck outta me. How does a 19 yrs old girl come home after having a crazy and not bust in this so called party and say "OMG you'll never guess what just happened" They were all childhood friends right? Well if so my friends would have known about that crash. Did they??? Did I miss something here?

I still think whether or not the Cabbie got to AMPM at 5:01 or 5:05, he arrived at least 7-11 minutes AFTER AS walked through the parking lot to possibly get a ride with the strange crown Vic across the way she mistook for a cab around 4:54 am. IMO

She could have been embarrassed for making such a scene earlier that night. Even after all the arguing with her bf in Scottsdale, she was "calmly upset" when she was back at her place after. It seems even then her presence in the apartment seemed a to be a brief non- event.

Pooley specifically said they were checking with party goers to see who knew where she was going.

I found that interesting.

It's in the NG transcript.

"SGT MICHAEL POOLEY, TEMPE PD: Well, we don`t have a suspect. Obviously nothing is off the table. At this point everybody and everything is on the table, and we`re just -- what we`re doing is we have to dissect all the different information that we have. We`re trying to see who was around Adrienne, who knew what, who knew where she was going. "

I think she was avoiding wasting time, also having them try to talk her out of going to BF and instead, dealing with her car. She must have already decided she was going to BF's no matter what. I have a feeling this relationship was drama-filled quite often.

Different personalities... my closest friends don't know when I'm most upset. I am extremely private and hide my sadness/anxieties/despair very well. It's a mixed blessing... Adrienne may have been that way. Introverts typically are... we would rather brood alone and find little comfort in the pity and care of others when we are in our bleakest moments.

Just my .50 (inflation, yannow).

ETA: She's little miss sunshine to everyone... sometimes it is easier to smile and carry on than "burden" those around us with our pain. We handle it ourselves... don't need anyone's help. *wink*

An interview from the past few days had a quote from a roommate saying she tended to get quiet whens he was upset, actually, good point. the more upset, the more she'd want to get in and out without anyone bugging her to find out what was wrong, I guess ....

They have to confirm whatever they can. I really think they are at a loss, unless some video turns up.

He may be trying to work between posts. I for one, have given up (working). *snort*

precisely. work, schmerk! i'm actually "working" right now too...

Another burning question....

Have all the party goers phones been looked at? Maybe for pics or videos? FB posts, etc?

that makes 2 of us! :) (well, i'm sure more than 2.. but yea.. lol)

one of the reports i read earlier even said that LE thinks the case is already going cold too *sigh* (i think it was the NG article? i've read too many articles today working on the timeline lol)

I took it to mean "who knew where she was going and could've then turned up along her route and done something to her". JMO

Working? With the time difference I'm being forced to give up hopes of sleeping here!

Hopefully I'll have an inspirational dream (only to come back tomorrow and find you've all solved it already!)

Here's what I wonder - Did LE clear the cabbie or did someone tell the media that LE cleared the cabbie? I just can't decide whether this is the result of a media blitz/PR campaign or if it is actual information sourced from LE that they would back up when asked. I can't see the detective in charge going from one day saying that everyone's a suspect to the next day suddenly clearing someone so close to the events that transpired.

Especially now with the awkward time discrepancies being reported by cab_guy in this thread, as well as his post a page or two back that police were all over his son from the get go until he retained counsel.

Just pondering out loud. Not being accusatory in any way. Just want to know what is going on more than anything.

Would be very interesting to see the photos (heck, even ONE) taken on AAAAALLLL those cell phones that night.

http://phoenix.icito.com/cab-driver-ruled-out-as-suspect-in-tempe-teens-disappearance-2/

" The cab driver’s father, Thomas Simon, said some people posted mean comments on social media, speculating Simon’s son had something to do with the teenager’s disappearance.

When asked about those comments specifically, Simon said, “I don’t want to repeat those things. They are things that I wouldn’t say at the dinner table.”

On Wednesday, 3TV learned Simon’s son was ruled out as a suspect in Salinas’ case.

Investigators took the cab’s GPS and verified the driver’s route which helped rule him out as a suspect
."

In case anyone missed it.

(goodness, I hope that isn't us. We weren't being mean, at least I wasn't. I was looking at leads. Anyhow, glad this is cleared up now completely. Sorry LE wasn't clearer about this earlier so we could've all focused our efforts elsewhere earlier, but of course that was out of our hands.)

Inquiring minds would also like to know if Cab_Guy has been verified... *taps foot*
