I would just like to comment on how great everyone is on here! I am only 20 years old and have had an interest in solving crime and following crime (Missing people in particular) since I was younger. my theories and thoughts are no where near as intelligent as yours but I really hope following more of these threads I can help and become a great sleuther ;) I am from Australia and follow mostly people who are missing in Australia or who have been found deceased however the whole story about AS has had me googling and looking at work all day since day 1.

Thank you everyone for your input and making my days at work more interesting. and most importantly doing this to help find AS!!!

Welcome to Websleuths. We all had that first post. :) I remember how nervous I was. Glad you can join us. We love to read the insight of new posters who have been following the case. Adrienne needs all the help she can get.

I really believe Adrienne became a victim by being out at 5am. I don't think her roommates have anything to do with her being missing. But in any event, I hope we know someday.

Agree!
To clean an abduction for it to be inexperienced roommate acting on spur-of-the-night impulse....
She was on the streets for so much time that night... vulnerable to the point of being endangered.

I can't believe there is still no progress in this case. I'm checking in about once a week, now on thread #6......nothing makes any sense here. Same in Jessica Heeringa case. I need a case to sink my teeth into!

Maybe they have stayed elsewhere?

I've heard from a user here via PM that the kids actually have been staying in that house. They've even been seen walking down the sidewalk to the apartment acting as if nothing had happened. I won't name names, but I will speak for this witness who happened to see this. FWIW.

But would the roommate have to have actually done the crime to be involved? This is not my primary theory but one I've tried to entertain. Keep thinking about Skylar Neese and how long her friends were able to keep quiet.

If I were to go down that road I have two adventures I've conjured up in my mind.

1. Let's say there was violence in the relationship and that is why she got out of his car. Then, maybe she was going back to the boyfriends to harm him. Maybe that is why she didn't need anything. She was full of rage. (This is totally make believe.) Maybe that is why the boyfriend called her roommate, he was getting nervous that she was going to the police? Perhaps why he didn't want to contact her - that he was trying to lay low. From here someone calls someone for help: hey, Adrienne is going nuts and going to hurt boyfriend. They go after her and a chase ensues. She keeps driving on flat tires to escape. (Still make believe.) They are on her tail and she is popping in and out of places around the ampm waiting for the cab - someone checks inside AMPM from the door - they finally come across her and poof. Keys returning to the house is moot because its someone that was associated with the group, the group knows this person is involved and thus isn't a factor. The rest of the stuff really was left when she returned the first time (still completely made up) Only a few things that even lead me down this path - I think this group is friends with gang bangers wannabes or not and at least indirectly associated with gang violence.

2. If I were to think along the lines of Michelle Le. If boyfriend was paying too much attention to someone or someone was paying too much attention to him at the house making it so Adrienne didn't want to stay there and then to return but to stay outside and then seemingly come in and out barely noticed. Perhaps this person used some scheme to get in the car with Adrienne. Anything really could happen and be fathomable here but at some point the individual goes into an even more elaborate scheme to throw off the case - phone calls to boyfriend, to cab, returning the stuff. If this is the case, I would imagine someone who is very prone to lying. I have no idea of a specific individual who this might apply to. In my experience with liars they tend to over-complicate things with lies on top of lies and what might seem too large a mountain of coincidence could just be the mountain of lies of one liar.

3. My number one theory still remains that someone in a cab or a cab looking car picked her up.

Please feel free to dissect. This is all complete speculation based on watching too much tv and reading websleuths for WAY too long.

I like all these theories as you based them on other cases that have a similarity to AS and TBH I need to verse myself further on those cases you mentioned.

I wonder if her roommates have BFs? Just curious.

Nothing has really been said about the contents of the wallet as far as I know, except that no cards have been used.

Adrienne didn't use her bank account at the time and had no need for a debit/credit card, so everything she had was presumably all cash.

BBM - same goes for me!
I'm thinking if roomates involved, LE should have been able to break one or more by now since AFAIK they haven't lawyer'ed up.

In Lauren Spierer's case all her "friends" lawyer'ed up right away, shutting out LE.

Speaking of Lauren, her case has allot of similarities -
both had health problems.
both out till early morning hours.
both been partying.
both had friends around them.
both some sort of BF conflict taking place.
both had subservience video of one video that didn't help much.
both disappeared shortly after being seen by someone.
etc., etc.

I've been lurking and trying to keep up. I remember that someone HAD a copy of the police report in hand. Has it been posted anywhere?

Therein lies the crux of my brick wall.

Adrienne just went "POOF".
If it wasn't for the parents, I'd think this was a "voluntary disappearance".
She left everything that would identify her at the apartment. Nobody knows what she was wearing. She had to have a passport because she had been to Rocky Point, LE certainly either found it or have it flagged at the Border. No wallet, MAYBE the $10 her dad gave her. No vehicle. No pets.
After 5:03 am.......nothing, no witnesses, no "crime scene", no cell phone pings, no video, not even her bag of clothes, nada.

I saw mention of that too, 30 pages or so, but I didn't find where it had been uploaded anywhere.

Sounds like she went into witness protection. - I know she didn't...

What happens when people really do go into witness protection?
I mean surely your family would report you missing.
Do they tell the family you died or what?

Yep. Supposedly the persons who "had the report" were practically making ppl beg to see it. Began to really get sophomoric and disgusting. In fact, seemed like something a young woman trying flub up an investigation would do.

Anywayz...

It is sounding more like an abduction the way it was described above... Poof!

I almost said "aliens" :floorlaugh:

I've been going up and down Hardy on Google maps in satellite. I wonder if she even got to Hardy? Did she cut through the apt parking lot and come out on 5th Street, then go through Jaycee Park? THAT wouldn't have been a safe place to walk through at that time of the morning.
Almost all the buildings on Hardy are set back away from the street, and there are hardly any obstructions, bushes, trees, etc., for a person to "hide/lay in wait".
Also wondering if the LE checked out "No Regrets" tattoo shop, got their customer list from patrons after 3:00 am that morning. (If they keep those kind of records, but there could be credit card transactions)

Checked the weather for that day: Low of 84, high of 107, sunrise at 5:17. Lots of locals and college kids are heading out to the lakes (Pleasant/Saguaro, they have a Max Capacity and turn people away) and Salt/Verde Rivers early before it gets too crowded. There's no swimming in the Tempe Town Lake.

Just floors me that no one saw her on Hardy.

It is possible people saw her and have contacted LE. We wouldn't necessarily know about it.
