I too feel she did not live long after being abducted.

If she was killed by someone she knows, it may be more difficult in some ways, as they would have reason to say she had been in their car before, for example. If an arrest is not made before the person is found, i.e.Sierra, then it may not come at once, after they are found. If LE did not have enough before, they may still not have enough, in other words, unless they can place her in a vehicle of a stranger, or place someone at/near the spot she was found on that morning, for example. I can't imagine her remains will provide much evidence of her killer, or possibly even cause of death. JMO

Just found this video of water rescues taking place on July 21, 2013 in Apache Junction. The one featured in the video was filmed at Lost Dutchman and Goldfield, which happens to be one of the defining boundaries of where Adrienne was found / the items of interest were found.

Here are some screencaps I just took to show an idea of the flooding right there:

I remember seeing that white Blazer/Bronco on the news! Those guys were LUCKY! I will have to check out that video...wondering if that house to the left is the resident who found the remains?

Just catching up after being out all day. I have seen several news stations reporting Adrienne's body as "skeletal remains" but in this quote from the land owner who discovered Adrienne it does appear she was more than just bones.

The remains were found just southeast of Highway 88 and Lost Dutchman Boulevard on Tuesday, Aug. 6. A property owner made the discovery near a wash on his land near Foothill Street and Goldfield Road.
"Under the bushes, I saw the legs, called the sheriff's [office]," Dan Kelly said. "I feel for the parents."
Those remains, which were in such bad shape that investigators could not visually determine if the body was that of a male or female, were sent to the Pima County Medical Examiner's Office in Tucson.

Thanks Bernina for the post above explaining the desert conditions and how a body could be buried and almost preserved. Very interesting about the soil there in AZ-out of curiosity I will have to do a google on that.

Maybe the body was moved to this location. I havent given this much thought and dont think Pooley and LE would be looking so closely at the found location but something I am keeping open minded about at this time.

As someone else pointed out, it would be nice to know if they have video, camera's or other local forms of "eyes" that might have captured a car or suspicious perp that fateful morning.

In these early days of finding Adrienne's body, I am going to stay optimistic that LE have a good idea of what happened and who is responsible and are just looking for all the evidence they can find.

Holy cow... the van in post #641 is in the area where Adrienne was found.
Just about exactly under the helicopter in top center.

Dan Kelly's property is at the left of the wash.

I'd also like to point out that, as far as I could follow the recent posts, this Garmin/GPS line of thought is based on the assumption that the perp indeed was aware of cameras (for whatever reason) and tried to avoid them. AFAIK, this is pure speculation. For all we know, the perp could've been driving honking and with "murderer" written on the hood through all the cameras in the greater Phoenix area. So far, I have not heard of any camera that captured a suspect vehicle (or, for these assumptions, NOT captured a suspect vehicle), or how likely it is to retrieve footage two months after the fact.
Even then I'd be careful to draw conclusions, as we've seen there are several routes to the area where she was found, so if the killer took one that has little or no cameras, it wouldn't necessarily mean that he avoided them on purpose.

I got another question: If taxis have those Garmin things or similar devices, would the service provider be able to trace the movements of the taxi? That would allow LE to eliminate a certain car.

I am hoping pings will help...is this area isolated enough so that not many pings would be happening around there 5-7am on a Saturday morning? Is there a tower nearby?

In the discussion about which route the perp may have taken, and taking into account sunrise and early morning activity, what if we look at an earlier time frame? Since the last time someone said they actually saw her, as far as what we know, she may have been taken out there when it was still dark- either after she left the apt before the wreck, or after the wreck (if it was her in the car.)

Also wonder if those at the party, including roommates and BF, had their phones checked for other communications, what the actual times were that calls were made, and for photos and videos.

One more wonder for now- since she wasn't cleared yet to go back to work, would other activities like arguing/ fighting, partying (drinking, etc), walking distances at a fast pace, being in a collision, and being intimate also be off the table/ unsafe for her? Maybe it was an accident followed by one bad decision after another.....

From GGE's screencap, Adrienne was found approx in the yellow area.

I swore I read two different versions, one that she was cleared for work, another that she was not. Anyone?

Also I think LE is going with the theory she drove the car. They have never hinted otherwise, IMO. Or that anyone else made all of those calls. I think tracking a perp from about 4:30am onward is a fairly safe bet.

Yeah, it's surely worth a try to get pings from the towers in the area and compare them to pings in the area where she vanished. Maybe there's even a match belonging to one of the "major players" in this case.
Here's hoping the perp didn't think of leaving his phone behind/turning it off and this data is still available.

OMG!!!! That bottom pic has the home (on the left) that the remains where found next to! The Blazer/Bronco was stuck just North of that residence! See the arena at the top left hand corner? HOLY S***!
Here's a raw feed of the rescue to give you an idea of the amount of water going through there. They were just so close the next day when they were digging out their vehicle.........whoa!

Yeah, the possibilities are endless.

I'm pretty sure LE checked the phone records of the boyfriend, regarding the roomies and other guests, I don't know if they did provide them voluntarily or if LE could get the data anyway - does someone know if TPD would need a search warrant with probable cause to get the data?

Making an accident look like a murder? Possible, of course. But as always, it begs the question: Why would someone do that? The only reasons I could think of right off the top of my head would be doing really bad drugs together, so the person(s) in her presence would implicate themselves, or she dies during an assault with obvious (defensive or other) wounds, which wouldn't really be an accident.

I had a similar thought before, that she might have tried to walk to her bf, then got exhausted, stumbled to some place to rest and succumbed. But that became moot when they found her, of course.

In the LE report, her father said she hadn't. 3rd page of the Narrative, 2nd paragraph.

The police report states: "RICARDO told me that [...] she had not been cleared to work ..."
There are some blacked out passages who apparently refer to her valley fever episode, I guess medical issues are not to be made public by police.

I remember trying to wrap my head around the fact that LE was adamant she got home after the wreck and changed. But then again, they probably know that stuff like this gonna end up on the internet, and maybe they're playing games. But yeah, they seem sure she really was alive and well until 5 am, and there's not really evidence to the contrary.

Is it just irony that the vehicle was on the same lump where she was found? Am I allowed to ask that? Sorry if not...

Has anyone checked on RSOs in that area?

Something beyond us wanted to make sure Adrienne was found. If she wasn't found then, something compelled the home owner to take that drive through the wash on the 5th.

I dunno, I checked all of cab_guys posts and the 5th was the last one I saw.....hmmmm. Was just trying to find some info on those Garmin things, but GGE posted a link above so I can get the info there. Sorry if it seemed I was implying anything?

Well, the post he made got deleted, I just happened to be around during the few minutes it was there. But it was recent.

No need to be sorry, I just wanted to point out that there is not yet any basis to assume the perp had such a device handy. And I'm not sure if there ever will be, I kinda doubt traffic cam footage will be stored for months, but what do I know about Phoenix (spoiler: nothing), so I'd love to be surprised.
