As if a lot of teens don't think this same thing. MOO

I am really hoping some of this jury has had teen children.
I'm really disgusted with how questioning is going thus far. Alissa is a victim and too much is being brought up that is not necessary, imo.

Catching up on testimony…John says he saw Alissa the last day of school (May 17, 2001). He says around 11 am she came and told him she was leaving early with her stepdad Michael. John says he never saw or heard from him again. During his testimony he says Alissa never told him about any plans to run away.

He says he didn’t know Alissa was missing until after work that day. He says he had a missed call from Michael asked where Alissa was or if he knew. A few days later he went to the family’s house and said that Michael showed him the note and discussed what he thought happened.

Defense attorneys ask about John and Alissa’s relationship. If he ever grabbed Alissa violently, John said no. They tried to ask about a bank account and if Alissa would carry cash with her. On redirect John said he did not know her to carry thousands of dollars in her pockets.

Before lunch a now retired Phoenix Detective took the stand who worked on Alissa’s case. Going through his testimony now.
