Why no new news from LE? Why isn't anyone cleared? Why no arrest? Last question for now...will this go unsolved?

Not in our minds!

That's good and interesting. I wonder if they're really close to an arrest. :praying

I don't know about that. The story is from a month ago :(

Oh gee. I hadn't noticed the date. This case is frustrating. I really thought there'd be an arrest by now.:gaah:

I hope they make an arrest soon! Allison deserves answers and justice!

If I were LE, I would do a second round of interviewing the neighbors. Wonder if they suspect anyone, they could lawfully get their DNA, I hope so.

  • #529
Has LE ever said whether the DNA they have has been entered in CODIS?

I'm sure it was right away but evidently there's no match because no one has been arrested.

I just don't know how the family can stand this. I can't understand why there is no information, and no arrest. Can't SPD release anything now that might help for the public to know? Clearly, they can't find the perp. This is so sad.

I looked through all the news articles and I don't see any mention of the FBI investigating this. Were they not called in?!

I have a hard time deciding which way to go with this case.

If AF new the killer it is possible he felt betrayed by her, and maybe had feelings that she was playing with his mind in some way. I can't help thinking of the killer covering her head with a cloth possibly indicating his feelings of remorse for what he had done.

If this was the case, I think it would be likely that he driven to her house, and parked in the driveway. She could have known he was coming and therefore kicked her boyfriend out. If that wasn't the case, it could be that he came uninvited. I wonder if it could have been someone she worked with or a client.

Saying that makes me wonder how some in the circle can be so quiet. That I find to be strange as well.

On another note, I still don't rule out the stranger/stalker/burglar theory.

Not in my mind either.

"The family met with investigators in Scottsdale this week, after the Chief of Police reached out to them. They have every confidence that Allison's killer will be found and brought to justice."

In spite of the fact this was about one month ago, when the family was here for Allison's memorial, that would have been the first time LE could have spoken in person with the family (Mom, Dad & Sister presumably). I am confident they were given information at that time they did not know previously. And that information is what gave them confidence that LE knew more than they were letting on that that the case would indeed be solved.

I suppose the short version would be that the Chief "clued them in".

;)

Well, I'm still putting my money on #5 until I have reason to believe otherwise.

Kind of intersting. I told a friend the other day that I was interested in who-dun-it cases and told him the few facts that we know about this case. His first response was "sounds like Valentines Day didnt go so well." His comment just made me think...hmmmm.

BBM:

That would be funny if it didn't appear to be so true.

MissD, I think it's great that you noticed the security cameras. I'm sure LE did too and asked to view them. The neighbors might be instrumental in helping to solve this case. I'm still going with #5,too.

It's possible. My son worked for a distributor who sold comics also online out of his home. Lots of Fed Ex and UPS deliveries, and 4 other employees, but that's the gist of it.

Could be that was the case here too.

The thread is re-opened. DO NOT sleuth people who aren't named by LE as suspects.

There will be no more warnings.

Thanks
