Be cuz the reward offer states significant trauma may be on the perps hands I am thinking she suffered stab wounds up close n personnel. Someone she knew.

Maybe someone who had a crush on her and she spurned him. Seems like a lot of anger went into this. JMO

In reply to Miss D's post, which will not let me "reply with quote", it shows this is someone who knows she lives there alone and knows her BF left, so he is not worried.

I don't think murder was his intent when he went there. I think an argument took place and he went crazy on her. And then spent a lot of time cleaning himself and as much else as he could.

I agree.

That would be a motive, nancy! Rejection turned into rage.

But if that was the case, Nancy, if he left how would he know he wasn't coming back?

Sometimes I think about the things we post here and I wonder if the family is reading. And if they are I just want to say this to them and I think I can speak for all here:

Our deepest, most heartfelt apologies to any family members or friends of Allison's who may read these sometimes very graphic posts. We are simply trying to get a handle on what might have happened in an effort to better understand what the killer might have done. We are doing this in an effort to possibly, hopefully, discover or uncover some kind of clue that may have been overlooked by LE.

We in no way intend to add to your grief or ours over the death of such a bright and beautiful young spirit. We understand that nothing can ever bring her back, but we also want to have this killer caught and punished for the horrible and unforgivable thing he did to Allison.

Please accept our deepest sympathies and most heartfelt condolences for your loss. We are all so very sorry.

So where is the BF these days? Is he posting on social media at all? Still overseas? Considering he was going to be proposing to her soon, I'm just a little surprised that he's been so quiet. Perhaps he has info/suspicions but obviously can't divulge those due to the ongoing investigation.......

It was mentioned above that the killer spent a fair bit of time at her home after the murder (cleaning up? showering?)...and that he wouldn't have known that the BF wouldn't be returning..........but maybe he was fully aware what time BF left and that he'd left for the night?

I find it odd that it was reported some time ago that LE were keeping an eye on someone who she'd ?dated in the past. A weird thing for LE to release, which could then be a huge tip-off to the person they're watching, that they're being watched and need to really be sure to cover their tracks........
I guess no DNA results back yet? And even when results do come back, if LE really has idea who the killer is, and that killer has no criminal history, it's not like they can look for a DNA match in some kind of criminal database....as wouldn't be in such a database.

I think it was stated some pages ago that he has not commented further.

Veuve Clicquot champagne is the bottle in the Valentine's Day picture...fwiw

Sort of a bizzar photo. Why is there two bundles of flowers? Why one bundle in a jar, and the other just laying on the table?

Also, I wonder if she was not a fan of chocolate? I see a little bag there, but not the big red hart shaped box of chocolates?

Being a $50 to $70 bottle of booze, I can see why it would be unopened. On the other hand, keeping it in the window would destroy the taste.

Maybe someone who had a crush on her and she spurned him. Seems like a lot of anger went into this. JMO

I think it was a crush. When we were looking at the photo a while back, it dawned on me that these could be two separate gifts - one is the flowers in the vase/present and the other is the champagne and the unwrapped flowers. I think they were left on her porch or something like that. It would also explain why the champagne was never opened and the flowers never put in a vase. I also think the present contained the Tiffany bracelet (and it was from her BF and taken by the crush, and which is why LE knew it was missing). This crush knew she liked tulips too, as did her boyfriend. Stealing the iPhone and a few credit cards was a ruse to make it look like a robbery too and probably an afterthought.

It also explains why she sent her BF home that night, so she could deal with this person once and for good. And why this person knew that her BF wasn't coming back that night. LE alluded to another person early on into the investigation. They also made a big deal about finding the DNA and making sure the media reported on that - ruffle some feathers of someone.

I wanted to clarify my post earlier about the champagne in the window. It looks like an unopened bottle of Veuve Cliquot in her window sill, in a line with OTHER bottles of alcohol. What looks like a clear liquor is there also, like a Vodka. There are around 4 bottles in a line, which makes me think it was put there just for decoration, and not by law enforcement. I myself have an unopened bottle of Veuve Cliquot at home, so I remember the look of the bottle very well.

The window with the alcohol bottles looks to not have any blinds, so it appears easy to look into. I believe it is close to where the Valentines pics was taken.

I feel like the police must know something about the alley. They were paying close attention to it, and had it all taped off. I am referring to the back alley.

So where did the bleach or clorox come from? Either the killer left the house and returned with the white substance, or they found it in the house and used it. Any criminal using a white substance to get rid of DNA would know to get rid of prints from the container of the white substance.

That is also why I believe the phone was taken. Maybe Allison went for her phone, so the killer grabbed it from her, and thus putting his prints on it. Almost anyone would know that all text messages sent and received can be read by the carrier's phone company, so taking the phone to delete the texts would be pointless. Even bad criminals would figure that out.

I figure a phone company could triangulate a cell phone when it is on, but I doubt they can trace the whereabouts of a cell phone AFTER it has been destroyed. It is too bad, as the killer probably took the phone with him/her, and tracing it could help with what direction he left in. I'm sure the police tried pinging the phone after the fact.

Let's say Allison's father's text did not go through at 10pm Arizona time. The killer was in the house for about 3 hours after the murder, so Allison's phone was still in the house for three hours. Now the killer either turned it off, or broke it right there in the house. I would guess that a killer would turn off a phone, and then carry it out of the house to eventually dispose of it somewhere, like a canal on in a field, so his/her fingerprints would not be detected. Breaking the phone into pieces right there in the house right after the murder could spread parts that contain finger prints.

So what does it mean that Allison's father's text did not go through? If her phone was turned off, then I believe the text would have gone through, just not seen. If the phone was broken, then maybe a text does not go through. I have not seen this topic explored (maybe it has). If the phone was broken before 10pm, well I guess there would be not possibility to trace the signal. This would have been clever of the criminal I guess. But if the phone was just turned off, I believe turned off phones can still be traced, maybe through having an IP address for the phone. The question is, could that IP address or whatever it is, be traced after the crime. I certainly do not know much about this. Too bad the ex-super hacker/phone phreaker Kevin Mitnick can not help out with this, but I imagine SPD must be pretty sophisticated in something like this. If there was any way to track a turned off phone after the fact, surely law enforcement would know about it.

Wish we knew more about her phone.

a few more thoughts...

Let's say Allison's father's text did not go through at 10pm Arizona time, and let's say this is because the phone was broken at that time by the killer; I would think the phone company would know EXACTLY what time the phone died, which would be close to the time of Allison's death. So this person just killed Allison, and is in the house for around 3 hours, after having broken her phone. How does this person know the boyfriend does not send a goodnight text to his soon to be Fiance every night (I used to send them to my Fiance every night)? For all this person knows, the boyfriend receives a text EVER night from Allison, and if he does not get one, he might drive over to the house, and possibly lives close? It would be very risky for the killer to break the phone, and hang out for 3 hours in the house afterwards.

So let's say the phone was not broken, and merely turned off (not sure how the father's text would not go through with this scenario). The killer would take the phone with him, and then probably break it somewhere. The phone company would know what time the signal stopped, but not much else.

If for some reason the killer did not destroy the phone, and tossed it somewhere, that phone could be pinged and located, and any near bye video cameras could be checked for a suspect, or his/her car. The phone could really give some clues.

Hi friends! I am catching up on yesterdays posts since we are back open! Just a random thought: do we know that the perp did or did not leave via car/truck/van etc? We always assume that the camera caught him leaving the house on foot but do we know that? In seeing the blue BMW in photos, I wonder if the cameras that verified the BF arriving was just his car. I assume (big assumption) that SPD would have stated what kind of car was seen leaving? Maybe not. Why would someone show up on your doorstep on foot? If her body was found in the hallway was it right inside the door? How awful to put all of it together. Killed in her own home at the hands of someone she at least knew.

Why would someone show up on your doorstep by foot? A neighbor, a neighbor who always watched her and knew she lived alone and saw the BF leave. I think LE should do another round of the neighbors. JMO

Wish I knew if she was sexually assaulted because that would prove it was someone who had a crush on her, but nothing is ever said.

LE said that were looking at someone who was interested in her. I just don't believe that this was random.

How would a perp know the BF would not be coming back to sleep? Seems kind of wild to hang around. Jmo

With her travel schedule and (from what we have read) the BF spending a lot of time there, this "random" person would be VERY lucky for it to be that small window of time. JMO.

That is why I go back to the small chance that AF invited someone over (if she asked/made/suggested her bf leave) she and he would know that BF would not be back. I do believe the killer got lucky though b/c how can they be sure that nobody was expecting her or that they wouldn't stop by to check on her before then? In the Maggie Daniels case she missed dinner plans that night. She wasn't found until the next day when the person she missed dinner with came by to check on her. If she had come by the night before she may have encountered the killer (ended up being a neighbor who is in jail now). IMO

So my neighbor theory isn't so bad after all.

It could also be a peeper type who was looking and listening and heard Allison tell her boyfriend to go home. Just another theory...

When I look at the gifts on the table I keep thinking these are gifts SHE bought for her boyfriend and their night together. The handwriting looks feminine to me. I figured she had tulips for him to take home in the wrap and some to decorate her home in a vase. I wonder if there was some sort of fight and she just put the champagne on the shelf afterwards. I think she posted the picture on Facebook just before the arrival of the boyfriend, like he was on his way over there at that point and she was showing everyone her nice Valentine's preparations.

Sorry for that really long post ya'll. Don't know if that's proper protocol or not. But it seemed like the fastest way I could play catch up here. So many interesting posts I wanted to respond to.

:)

Catching up, WS was down last night.... You post was geat!!! The longer the better! You answered allot of questions! I don't think it necessary IMO for locals to get verified. Personally, I'm too private a person to disclose info that's needed. Also, I think we can tell by what a person posts, especially photos, how local they are...

For whatever reason, LE is very tight lipped about the crime scene. Is because it's safer to do that in terms of careers (and, hey I can relate to that); or perhaps some other reason. Generally, the more the public knows, the better the chance that something mentioned might resonate with someone who knows something, but doesn't realize it.
