Yep,now if we could figure out who might have called.

I also read that some people use a teaspoon of bleach in water to keep cut flowers alive longer.

That would be the ultimate irony if the bleach were readily available in Allison's house because she'd purchased it to keep the V-Day flowers alive. :-(

Yes, it would, but she might have just had for laundry. I'm sure the killer didn't bring it with him. I'm going to look up whether it does degrade DNA.

I'm not sure if he went to the funeral in Scottsdale which I would think would be very important to someone so close and in love! Honestly, I don't know how he went overseas so soon after her death.

I attended the funeral here in Minnesota and it was a very somber event as I'm sure you can imagine. He actually spoke of the two of them and brought up Valentine's Day. He was very hard to understand so it was hard to hear all of his stories.

I have a lot I could say about this but not sure what all is allowed on here!

I've been following this case very closely since the beginning and came across this website. It was so nice to hear that others are so much involved and wanting answers as well.

It's all been so horrible and surreal. I still can't even believe it.

I sure wish LE would reveal more details, anything that could possible help the case!

I agree, the Valentine's picture is a little creepy but I honestly think it was just her or him taking a pic of the holiday.

I do feel something definitely could have happened that weekend considering it is so close to her time of death.

I went to one of the funerals and Valentine's Day was actually discussed. I believe they went to a comedy club, pretty low key or else was made to seem that way.

BBM in your posts above...

Just trying to clarify / connect a couple of dots STS...

Was it the BF who stated they went to the comedy club when he spoke at the funeral???

I have to say it's so nice to come home and see all of your comments and theories!

It's great to have you all to chat with since LE has not given us much in the last month.

I hate to think this case will go unsolved. :(

Miss D, I found your theory of possibly more than one perp very interesting. I never thought of that!

Hi Lilac, I feel the same way when I come here and have other interesting and intelligent folks to discuss this case with. It is so frustrating to have nothing basically to go on from LE.

I don't think the case will go unsolved, Lilac. I really don't. It might take some time, but it will be solved. jmo

As for there being more than one perp, in the first Community Meeting LE spoke of how they didn't know if there was more than one perp. They didn't use the word perp. I forget what word they used. Killer, I think.

To repeat, they did stress that they thought it was "isolated", "targeted", and "personal".

They would not say why, no matter how many times we asked them. Other than to say they didn't want to reveal details that could "jeopardize the investigation".

Why I said that about there being more than one perp as a possibility is this:

LE has stated they have DNA that would identify the killer and prove the innocence of any other suspects. However, they still state that no one else has been cleared.

What this tells me, logically, is that there could be more than one killer in their opinion or that evidence might point to that and until they get a DNA match on who that person is they will not clear anyone else because there is something that makes them think more than one perp was involved. Does this make sense?

If anyone here can tell me why this theory doesn't hold water please do so. I'm not sure of anything anymore, as you probably know if you saw yesterday's little 'fiasco'.

That would be ironic, wouldn't it.

I somehow doubt that was the case, however. Usually those little flower bunches come with a package of 'stuff' that you put in the water to help them live longer.

Sounds a bit scary to put bleach in with your precious flowers, but it's amazing how many household tips there are these days one would have never dreamed of before. Like apple cider vinegar. Used for almost everything.

Yep,now if we could figure out who might have called.

Well, if it was someone she spoke with regularly the calls will still be in the record from her carrier. Well, the TIMES of the calls. Not the content. If there were texts, I do think the content might be on record with the carrier, however.

But maybe they, whoever it was, didn't call her because they didn't want her to know they were coming back.

MissD,a question: I know Allison had an in ground pool. Is it common for people to use oxegen bleach in their pools. I know my neighbor has actually used regular bleach in his. But we have a short pool season here, unlike you lucky people in Scottsdale.

I thought that, also. I thought LE could get a warrant for texts and calls even if they were deleted. So if that's true I wonder why the phone was taken. Was it just to make it appear it was a robbery?

Hey Luv! There are two types of pools here in this area. Chlorine pools and salt water pools. Allison had a chlorine system. You can tell that from the color of her pool. It appears from aerial shots that the neighbors on the corner had a salt water pool from the gray green color.

But with almost all of them you don't use 'bleach' as a standard.

Normally the pools are maintained by adding chlorine tablets as needed. Pool cleaners do this weekly here, as a norm. Once in a while they may have to shock the pool but this is normally done with some kind of chlorine product.

The other maintenance procedure is backwashing, something that might have to be done after a monsoon (we have those things here) where an unusual amount of sand, dirt or other gets into the pool. They usually do this with a product called Diatomaceous Earth.

I used to actually build pools so I am fairly familiar with the different maintenance products.

TBH no one talks about different types of bleach used, not normally anyway. I suppose some people might use bleach if they are DIYers, but I'm pretty sure Allison had a pool cleaner guy and he would have more than likely used Chlorine tablets for the most part.

Hope I answered your question. It's doubtful they were using Oxygen bleach in the pool.

But a lot of people use Oxygen Bleach in laundry products, OxyClean is one example.

PS: Muriatic acid is often used to adjust the ph of a pool. In very small quantities. It isn't really a bleach but it will turn white after it dries. Not sure if it destroys DNA but one sure doesn't want to get it on their skin.

I still think it was to destroy evidence. Whatever evidence the perp might have thought was on there. Maybe just his fingerprints. Or maybe information about him he thought was on there.

Maybe since he probably took it away from her and broke it he took it.

I doubt he took it to look like a robbery, but the other things yeah...could be.

I did not see that LE got DNA from under her fingernails - if you have a link please post it....

You're right I think in that it has never been officially reported that she had DNA under her nails. But as others have pointed out it would be natural to assume that based on the reports of the perp possibly having cuts and scratches on his hands and arms.

Here is the official /scottsdaleaz.gov report:

http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/Police/newsPIO/Allison_Feldman_Murder?DateTime=635645358000000000&PageMode=View

I do think you are correct in pointing this out to us. Maybe she didn't have DNA under her nails. Perhaps there is another way they know the perp might have scratches on his arms and hands.

Yes, I'm curious about this too. I wonder if they went alone or with friends. Maybe even with neighbors. I wonder if LE has spoken to the management at the Comedy Club. Actually there's more than one Comedy Club in Old Town and I'm presuming they went to one of these, but trust me, I'm not posting any pics I find.

I think it's one perp. MissD,why do you think it could be two?

  • #818
The neighbor who had been spying on her?

Perhaps a "neighbor" called that evening to tell her a package addressed to her had been delivered to his house by mistake, and he would come right over to bring the package directly to her. Just a thought. . . .

The neighbor who had been spying on her?

Could be! My no. 1 theory is a neighbor did this, but since everyone is concerned about the phone being taken, it could be someone did call her before they came. I wonder if that's true either, since nothing happens to be happening at all, IMO.

Don't say that (BBM above)...IMHO the little fiasco (<- your word) / excercise (<- my word) might actually prove interesting, as it seems none of those highlighted were either of them...

:moo: :cow:

Just saying...
