The judge doesn't want interruptions, so his brilliant idea is to recess until tomorrow? Why not have lunch and then STAY FOR A FULL DAY FOR ONCE??? :banghead:

ugh..whatever. I don't understand this, and trying to piece together the tweets is becoming mentally exhausting now that two trials I am following are tweet-only trials at this point.

I can fill in with the tweets tomorrow, if I get overwhelmed, I'll stop. Enjoy your day tomorrow. :seeya:

BBM...cuz it is A.R.I.Z.O.N.A...

Yeah Chelly, but they picked an odd time to decide to stream something.
Not many have a clue that this case is even still going on

It is confusing.
We can expect tomorrow's closing arguments to be streamed, I think.

Marissa Devault trial: Closing arguments expected Thursday

Posted: Mar 25, 2014 11:15 PM EST

PHOENIX (CBS5/AP) -

Closing arguments are expected to start Thursday in the trial of a Gilbert woman accused of beating her husband to death with a hammer while he was sleeping.

The defense rested its case in the Marissa Devault Trial on Tuesday.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

Gosh I hope they stream the closing arguments.

I would check this link tomorrow geevee- http://www.kpho.com/category/224303/kphocom-local-live-streaming

Also, keep an eye on the twitter feed for MD, if it will be streamed someone will likely post it- https://twitter.com/search?q=marissadevault&src=typd (you don't need twitter to see the tweets, just fyi).

Sorry I will not be here tomorrow to update and/or watch with everyone.
Will have to catch up in the evening :tantrum:

Watching replay of yesterdays marathon hour long court proceedings. 28 minutes into the day, the judge asked the court reporter if she had 15 more minutes left in her fingers for the jury instructions.

laughing at you calling it "marathon" :floorlaugh:

Arizona taxpayers should be demanding like-kind work hours, or a refund of taxes paid commensurate with the hours worked (or lack thereof) in the court system. How shameful.

OT...Speaking of ARIZONA...Seven years ago when I was deciding where to retire from Massachusetts, Arizona was on my radar. Ultimately, I decided Arizona and I would not be a good fit. Decided on New Mexico and have been happy, happy, happy for my great choice.:twocents:

:floorlaugh: You kids are too funny! Aw, come on, Arizona is just too chilled out for the instant gratification crowd. Phoenix is really the only "fast paced" city in Az, and for the most part, non-natives learn about the old "hurry up and wait".
The break for 2 weeks probably had a lot to do with the "extended school year" and Spring Break.

We just be a chillin' bunch o' peeps.........but, seriously, Maricopa County Superior Court should get their schedules together. Doesn't happen in this county.

Wonder what the reversal %'s are for cases in Arizona? I can't remember the last time there was a case re-tried, except for the recent court ruling on one of the women on death row (can't remember her name) but I think the prosecutor has yet to refile charges. It was a pretty ugly case 20+ years ago. The defense claims the detective lied. She had her room mate and one of his friends take her young son out in the desert and shoot him, under the pretense they were taking him to see Santa Claus.

My personal opinion, she's evil.
