Our weather has been abnormal, if we don't get more rain, we're in big trouble. Had a rancher last week doing a controlled burn that got out of hand, 100+ acres of State Land Trust, 20 firefighter, 6 engines and 2 water tenders. The problem is: We have a fire district we pay taxes on, and not everyone in this area is in the district. Local FD don't step in unless a life is in danger or district covered areas are in danger. They only stepped in when the fire was threatening homes in the district.
I've watched beautiful homes on the other side of the valley totally destroyed because the owners didn't get their property annexed into the fire district or didn't pay the yearly fee to get covered. "Assuming" is a bad idea out here. When zoning says you're in a 100 year flood plain......buy a raft!:floorlaugh:
Well, without a live feed, I've paid my monthly bills online, decided on a new gusset set up, and figured out how much pipe and post mix I need. And, the aspirin is kicking in.
This trial would have been really good had it been aired everyday. The Judge is excellent, but not too overly impressed with the pros or def teams. Would like to see MD take the stand, she's a regular ol' "chatty cathy" there at the def table.
Did Stan ever take the stand, or did we totally miss it? Wish someone would get their cell phone on stealth mode and just upload the whole proceedings:facepalm: is that illegal?!?!?!:floorlaugh:
