I'm becoming concerned myself, Zoey.

I'm using the down time to watch the opening and closing statements of the Jason Young retrial, I don't have the extra hours to watch all 18 days of testimony but the fore and aft are doable, and interesting. Anyone know if they've set another trial date?

They must be hung up on somethng. I hope they don't just settle on M2 to avoid a hung jury.

They have had long enough for lunch now. :floorlaugh:

Who swings a claw hammer to the head of a sleeping human being?

Pass that note to the Jury.

@TrialDivasJ I think any strife is over the correct pronunciation of her name. I can judge if need be!

I am wondering about that as well. I didn't follow testimony so do tell: what are the odds of a hung jury?

I think we've got a "mixed bag of nuts" so to speak re the jury demographics. Any one recall the demo break down ? TIA

I'm just thinking they have been at it so long---I know that the days are short in AZ court BUT---this didn't seem that hard.......but what do I know (sun is shining in Seattle and here I sit on jury watch! :scared::floorlaugh:)

True --- super sunny and crazy lovely. But justice doesn't rest my friends! :P

I hate to think this, let alone say it, but I think this jury is milking it - the time off from work, the time to hang with new folks, the time to be in the spotlight... I firmly believe in professional juries. I'd never want just some regular Tom, Dick or Harry deciding my guilt. This is really ridiculous. I never expected the jury to deliberate this long. IMO it is not a good sign for a guilty verdict.

Interesting observation. We just never know. Thanks for adding an alternate thought regarding the lengthy jury deliberation. Just maybe

Fun fact...#MarissaDevault lawyer Andrew Clemency plays the Ukulele & has graced us with a short show. It was very nice. I needed a drink

Wow. This jury started at 10:30 and worked until 12:30. Returned at 2:00 and left at 4:00. That is a total of 4 hours. A half of a day. Plus they are off on Fridays.

Arizona court hours. Theft are hard little workers. I'm sure there were a few breaks in there as well :scared:
