Yes, and speaking of "pods", I'm sure they would be kept separate from each other.

I think the Lumley Unit @Perryville only offers single pods as first year residents. Years 2 and higher the respondent can request a "double" or a "triple" depending on availability....kinda like going off to college but with the leg irons.

Yes--Lumley has single cells if I remember reading correctly. But isn't it remarkable that both of these women will likely wind up there at around the same time?

Does Arias have access to news of DeVault's trial? :scared:

If an inmate REALLY wants to find out about something, anything is possible. In CMJA's case, a sympathetic lawyer, legal rep, jail trustee, guard, or coded mail sent in from the outside, "morse code" jail communication, "kites" (paper messages sent through the inmates, they might call it something different now) and her very limited phone privileges.

CMJA can't get news articles or news casts.

Necessity is the mother of invention, and boredom can bring out the brilliance in some people. Who would have thought that toilet paper could be molded into a sharp instrument to hurt or kill someone? Some of the "things" inmates have invented are really mind boggling.

#MarissaDevault took some hair ties out we are down to 4 now lol #MarissaDevault

Careful, she might be resuming her former occupation as a trial finale. :scared:

Hummm. Does she get searched for hair ties? If she joined them all together, how long would they be? Guess I watch too much crime.

Excellent observation (tweet and posts IMO) - and FTR you can never watch too much crime. Well, maybe, but you won't hear that from me!

OMG, seriously what is wrong with me? For some reason I thought that yesterday was Sunday. I was waiting for Demarte today only to come here and find out that it's all over! I'm in fog or something! I know it's 'MY fog' and I ought to know why this happened. Ah, the consequences for having been obsessed with that trial...

LOL! I did that on a trial too, thought everything I waited for was happening the next day and missed it all. I wish there were a YT of DeMarte's testimony, the tweets were so interesting. If the gods are smiling on us today we'll get a live stream of the closings but I haven't seen anyone tweet with certainty of that yet (and even when they do it doesn't always happen).

I myself have wondered the same since this started Zoey.
Shoot me in the leg, the arm, shoulder....but the spine, risking lifetime paralysis?
I thought she was supposed to be smart?!?! :banghead:

I'm back reading here, but wanted to answer this.

The insurance policy paid out if she were paralyzed from an accident, so the original plan was for Stan to shoot her in the spine.
He thought that was too dangerous, so instead he punched her in the face and hit her ankle with a sledgehammer.
It's odd since those injuries wouldn't lead to paralysis so there really was nothing to gain from doing that.
I honestly do not understand that thought process, but when two crazies get together amazing things can happen.
