Anyone else take issue with these "paid witnesses" who do absolutely nothing to verify what the defendants claim? I wouldn't be able to put any weight on their testimonies.

I do if they are not thorough.
Comte said he spent 3 hours with her?
I could play someone in a 3 hour time span...you need to really dig in and spend more time if you want to get deep into someones psyche. IMO!


ETA- Going to be blunt here. They need more youth in these positions. Yes, years of experience is great, but sometimes younger people are more up to date on ideas of their practice.
Specifically, someone like Janine DeMarte. She was smart and seems to know when she is being scammed....again, just MOO!

when the seal went up the voices mentioned the reason for the break was something to do with emails......

I "think" from what I caught, it was an issue of whether the "email" (Flores and CMMD exchanges) was in evidence already and the Doc could be presented with it. More than likely, a "game changer" for this witness's perspective on the validity of his "client's" claim of abuse, neglect, etc., etc.

Hmmmmm........maybe they'll get to the jury deliberations on Monday?

And just an observation here: CPS in Arizona has and is under the gun to investigate ALL cases of child abuse. Children are never, NEVER, questioned by CPS with other family members/accused perpetrators present. There isn't a "heads up" of an investigation that gives anyone enough time to "get their stories straight". Yes, they use anatomically correct dolls, drawing material, and 2 CPS workers will show up, unless it is a report of unhealthy living conditions........and then they (usually 1) just show up unannounced.
They are bond by law to either find the case "unfounded" and then closed, or further the investigation to removal of the child (children), contact other LE offices for charges against the perps, and other legal remedies.

But the case file is kept in the CPS records indefinitely, closed, resolved, or otherwise.
