Oh, please jury...do the right thing.

I had never heard of Dan Lovelace before. This jury must set a precedent. Cops cannot just kill and get away with it. When they get away with this stuff, it makes them stronger.

I truly hope there will be justice for DR, but most importantly for his mother. She certainly did not ever think one phone call to those who are there to protect and serve would lead to her son's death. Heartbreaking.

Daniel's mom simply wanted her son taken out of the house, and maybe get his head together, cool off, whatever. If RC is NOT found guilty, how many people in Phoenix are going to have 2nd thoughts about calling LE when they have a similar situation or a domestic issue of any kind? They're going to weigh the situation between "Is this worth getting the "aggressor shot and/or killed" or "Can I put up with this". Not a good situation whatsoever.

Absolutely Zuri and Bernina. And how will Daniel's mother ever feel comfortable about calling the cops ever again, herself?

There is absolutely no justification for her to carry any responsibility of Daniel's murder because of the actions of RC. This case is so wrong on so many levels. All RC had to do was let Daniel get on his bike and ride away.
Let's be honest, if the ethnicity was reversed between RC and Daniel, if this had happened in Scottsdale or Paradise Valley, LE would have distanced themselves completely from RC.
I hope the jury can give Daniel's mother some sense of peace with a guilty verdict. This is such a tragedy.

Is it just me? I am finding the tweets reporting the jury laughing and smiling very disturbing. A young man is dead. IMO when one is charged with a duty as important as this, some decorum should be maintained. JMV

It didn't work :( It must be the site. Can anyone else get twitter to work?

Mine remains the same after refreshing but no new tweets in 16 minutes, let me try another page.

I had to use ATF Cleaners to get rid of all my cookies, just clicking it in IE did not dump them all.

Maybe they're just leaving the case in the jury room? :twocents:

Yes, Zuri, I do find it a bit odd. Especially when we hear the reports of Elvira crying and shaking, but of course they didn't see that.

I guess they are good at turning it on and off.
