Did the judge just say that RC didn't have to be present for the Verdict?

I think he was talking about juror questions? If there's any question does he want to be present, defense said no.

he doesn't have to be present for jury questions and he has waived his right to that, but he has to be there for the verdict or a warrant for his arrest will be issued

No, he waived his appearance for any questions from the jury. RC has to be there for the verdict or a warrant is issued for his arrest.

He has to be there for verdict or a warrant could be issued, he waived his right to be there for jury questions but CM said if he changed his mind he'd let the judge know.

Obviously, when you don't have a gazzillion peeps watching the same trial, it's real easy for the few of us to all answer the same question!
I guess it's a matter of who types faster and/or has the faster internet!:floorlaugh:

They'll probably give the media advance warning, as they do, and it will be tweeted/announced.

My stream cut out and was replaced with a pic of Juan (how nice of them, I screen shotted it lol), guess we'll have to watch the tweet page for updates.

I heard that he waived about the juror question's. Just have a hard time hearing the judge, and didn't catch the rest about the verdict. I miss understood.

Thanks everyone for your replys

Text BREAKING to 23765 I guess. That is the KPHO breaking news text alert system. They are bound to carry it live. Right?

Can anyone tell me what the Judge said about what evidence jury gets to see in the jury room? And what evidence do they have to request from outside?

  • #1,296
Did we get mentioned?

The judge told the juror's about tweeting, googling, and and such. I was just saying what about WS, that maybe they could look here for answer's. lol

Sorry, I don't always tell the rest of the story.

Going out on a limb here..........Guilty, guilty, gulity.
That's my verdict and I'm stickin' to it!
The only feasible way it could be different is if CMJA's foreman is back in the jury!!!!

Judge said they get the evidence as it is now (whether opened or not) and if something isn't opened they have to ask and the judge will decide if they can open and see it (because it wasn't shown in court but entered, I guess).

I'm just curious....if a jury goes back to the room and they take an initial vote and all 12 come back "guilty", do they even have to go through the evidence? Or can they just return the verdict right then? (not saying that's gonna happen in this case 'cause I'm pretty sure they won't all be unanimous in beginning). but just curious.
