Geevee we survived with all of the tweeting and things we had to do. Mainly to survive and know what was going on in the trial. It has been a difficult one to go through, yet it has been fun sharing with you. I think this trial will be in my memory more so than the JA trial.

Thanks everyone for being here to support not only Juan but Danny Rodriguez. Lets don't forget that he died in this tragedy! I don't think when his mom called 911 she expected this kind of outcome.

Justice now for Danny! Jury please find RC guilty has Charged!

I don't see how any of the jury could condone what RC did and expect that is normal, legal police behavior. But I also worry that they may be afraid of actually convicting a cop regardless of the evidence.

Going out on a limb here..........Guilty, guilty, gulity.
That's my verdict and I'm stickin' to it!
The only feasible way it could be different is if CMJA's foreman is back in the jury!!!!

From your lips to God's ears as they say. I thought JM was convincing in his rebuttal. He seems to read jury body language well. He kept it short and to the rebuttal point. I really hope that the jury will not fear reprisal from the PPD if they should find him guilty. I also hope there are no closet racists on the jury as well. :please:

It was a real roller coaster ride, wasn't it Jewels? We all finally made it to the finish line (even if our ears are as numb as our fannies), I just hope Danny finds justice soon, RC had no business treating him as he did and certainly no cause to shoot him.

People - in the form of juries - must start standing up for themselves and draw the line on this sort of police brutality, plain and simple. I hope these 12 have the courage to do so.

BTW: Juan is "stylin'" with that pink tie. Not many guys can do that....but I won't go there :floorlaugh: *thoughts of the "Easter Explosion" by a certain defense team several months ago in another part of that court facility* :floorlaugh:

Enjoyed another day with all of you on this thread. I am hoping for a quick guilty verdict. I'll be watching WAT and/or The Trial Divas tweets on my facebook for a heads up on a jury decision. Talk with you later.

Thanks Jewels and Geevee for the tweeting and for keeping us updated on everything! You don't know how much I appreciate it!! If you all weren't on here, I probably wouldn't have followed the case, but you made it easy with posting the tweets and keeping us informed....thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

KPHO still has the seal up so I'm assuming camerman still has everything running in case there's a question or something today.....

I think the jury will come back with guilty. I really do.

Brilliant of Juan to keep closing short and to the point. The only one necessary after today, lol. Where's the screen shot of the pink tie?!

Just laughing to myself about all your comments here. When we are old and losing our minds, in a nursing home, or wherever, we will babble endlessly about remembered trials and ask where our secret BF Juan is! :floorlaugh:

I have really enjoyed watching this trial with you all as well. This trial did not seem to be as divisive as Zimmermans nor have the acrimony. I really got interested in this trial because of your excellent presentation of the history and astute observations. I came late to this one as I was over in the Sneiderman trial. If you hadn't posted the tweets, I would not have been able to get caught up to speed.

I think the Bashara trial is going to start soon. Poster ATL (atthelake) brought it to my attention. That might be a good one for us to follow as well. If you know of any good trials that would be interesting, please let me know.

You all are the best. Very kind, wonderful people with a great sense of humor and excellent taste in food. ((((( )))))

Right back at ya' Zuri, and ditto to everyone here too. :blowkiss:

Zuri...we've been together for a while now b/c I was in Sneiderman trial as well!

I've been trying to check in on the Grant Hayes trial, but it's pretty detailed so it would be hard to catch up on everything. The folks over there posting do a good job of keeping everyone informed, though, so I haven't even watched the trial I just look over there. Very interesting.

I glanced over that thead yesterday and may follow the trial, I've been keeping up with the Hayes trial (wral has excellent archives and full vids) but prosec. is almost done and judge wants the jury to have it by week's end, so next week I'll need something to pay attention to. :blushing:

I hate to admit it, but that's my fear, as well.

I think that's why Juan made several references to Scottsdale. Getting people to think outside their comfort zone. Say "South Phoenix" to most Arizonan's and you might see a few "cross" themselves. It's a pretty tough part of town, but there's some very good people there, along with many retired folks who have lived there for decades that couldn't afford to move when the area went down hill. It might be more of "closet anti-drug" jurors. Hispanics are such a huge part of the culture here that it's only an issue if someone makes it an issue.
I didn't even know that there was this thing called "racism" or it was practiced, til I got to High School and that's when we really got into the Civil War and beyond. People were just people. That was Arizona in the 60's and 70's, at least in Scottsdale.

Or we will say to the geriatric nurses and fellow patients : Yes Or No, Are you having trouble with your memory today? Well, it's your fog isn't it? What were you gonna do? Throw the ____ at them? That wasn't my question. For whom the bell tolls, they would have you believe...

The nursing home will never be the same!

Alright folks, I doubt the verdict will come down today so I'm gonna log off now. If anyone finds out what times the jury chose, can u post it? (sure you guys will!).

See you all tomorrow....praying for guilty verdict!
