GUILTY AZ - Daniel Rodriguez, 29, fatally shot by Phoenix PD officer, 5 Oct 2010 #3

  • #101

OT: Like Styers and Scott shot Christopher 3 times just for the heck of it? Naw....nasty divorce and Milke wanted her ex to hurt and collect an insurance policy on Christopher. Tell the kid you're taking him to see Santa Claus, take him to the desert and shoot him? Pretty sick and twisted. Hope a thread gets started.

The longer they are out, is that usually indicative of G or NG?

It is a conversation but I think it was just her reply about juror 9 and if it means anything.

Not very long. Don't remember exact hours.

Zimmerman jury was given duty on July 12, (IIR in the late afternoon) and returned with verdict the next evening, so maybe 10 hours, +/-?

Wasn't that jury back in the evening of the second day of deliberations?

  • #111
Ok, on HLN it says jurors in Zimmermann trial delberated for just over 16 hours....so I guess we shouldn't be in panic mode yet....

ooooyyyyyyyyy...

I remember one of the Tweeter's saying something about a male juror chewing their nails several times during testimony. I went back to look and couldn't find anything, although I didn't look at every post. I hope it was Juror 9 that was the one doing the nail biting!

The more I think about the judge reading the second line of the verdict form first - 'Not guilty' - the more irked about it I get.

Yes, it just seems longer because of the ridiculously short hours in AZ. That's what makes it frustrating. The jurors in the Zimmerman jury came back the next day late at night with their verdict but they deliberated all Saturday (got the case on Friday) day to be able to do that. I don't think this jury has that option in cash strapped AZ.

4 minutes until my next verdict prediction...think it will go down the drain with the first one. lol

It's pretty improper. I also noticed when he was reading the "if you don't find such and such you must find the defendant not guilty" and so on, part of the instructions he did it louder and more forcefully.
