Does anyone think the jury is having too much "fun" and doesn't want it to end? Loud and chatty? What are they doing in there? Exchanging recipes? Playing poker? This is too much.![]()
 Ask one of the Twitters if they've heard loud outbursts of "BINGO!!!!" coming from the jury room.......

I don't like to speculate but you're right. 15 hours for a case that is quite simple? Sounds like a hung jury to me.

Quiet, she's sleeping!
Well the 53 in my user name represents my birth year, so that tells you why I am sleeping. lol
Seriously though I am so frustrated with this jury, it shouldn't take this many days. This is not a death penalty case. I just don't get what they are doing in the jury room.
I have gone through 2 verdicts since this trial began and this isn't one of them. :banghead:
PS I am not taking this out on you Bernina, just jumping off your post!
Rose, and another thing is, it's not like those 15 hours were all together with only food breaks in between....no they are spread out over 5 days!!! That means the jurors individually have every night to mentally "go over" the day's discussion in their heads and think about it. Also they had ALL WEEKEND to think about it. Not saying they're doing any independent research, of course, just talking about thinking about it in their heads like we all do.
I think it could be two things: Either there is one or two people on the jury who are going against the majority vote, so the others are trying to convince them so they can reach unanimity. It could even be 4-5 people, who knows? Or, they could be going through ALL the evidence/witnesses/instructions piece by piece and then taking a vote at the end of everything. Plus with the charges they could be going over those one at a time too.

They brought their lunch to not deliberate during it? I bet the court told them they had to go.
Do you think they will make a decision before the autumnal equinox? At this rate, the winter solstice?
I always wanted to type those words.![]()
Maybe their 'lunches' were actually baked goods for all to munch on while deliberating.
