I love the access to trial and hearing by tweets and sincerely thank the Trial Divas, but we do miss out on a lot of information. For example, what exactly was Mehrens basing his claims of prosecutorial misconduct on? What did Juan do or say? It just says "misleading statements," but we don't know what those statements/actions are.

And then there's the tweet in between by Monica Lindstrom about no cumulative error, I'm assuming that's talking about the prosecutorial misconduct claim in the Arias trial and now the claim in this trial.....so where did that come from? Did Mehrens say something about the Arias trial?

It sounds like Mehrens was basing his whole claim for "new trial" on prosecutorial misconduct, but we still don't know from any of the tweets what that misconduct was.

Yes, I was hoping Monica would tweet more of the actual arguments so we'd know what was going on, I'm glad for the divas but they miss some important info.

I am giving up on the AZ court system, it is beyond ridiculous. Between Arias dragging out and now Chrisman being allowed to drag out. I don't have the patience for this.

Awww, don't get too frustrated Jewels, it took years before either came to trial anyways, and no matter which comes first, they'll likely follow one after the other so we'll have 2 or 3 months or trial come January. lol And all of it Juan, Juan, Juan! heh heh heh

LOL Josie, sometimes I see a new post to the thread and totally forget to open the thread, that'll change once trial starts again, geez I hope we don't have the same mess around with live feed, no live feed, tweets about shoes and hair and 'what? evidence? motion argument? Nah, that's boring trial talk'. I like the Divas and am grateful for any info out of the courtroom when cameras are dark but I want substance, real reporting, dang it. lol

I looked at his docket because lately whenever there's a hearing for Arias, there's been some kind of happening in RC's case as well, don't see anything about a hearing today for RC, just the docket entries filed yesterday and posted today. Not sure who wants to 'withdraw oral argument', haven't seen that before, maybe someone here has some understanding?

Now that the ruling on the 'historical prior conviction' has come down, it all makes sense:

Or rather, the theory makes sense, but the judge didn't see it that way and struck the notice.

This morning, according to the docket, we have oral arguments at 8:30 and a status conference at 10:00, however on 11/25 there was a 'Request to withdraw oral argument' and this is the next one scheduled, so I'm not sure if that will still take place or only the status conference. I'll keep an eye on twitter and post if any news arises.
