Dustin Michael Morris, 38, as been missing since Sept. 9. He was last seen in Tempe and may be in the area of Interstate 17 and Dugas.

However, they said there have been no physical sightings of Morris and his cell phone is powered off.

He is possibly wearing a white t-shirt and jeans with short hair or a shaved head. He is described as 5-foot-8-inches tall and 185 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

I have a lot of questions about this situation. Did he travel to Yavapai County for work, to visit someone, or for outdoor recreation? Does he live in Tempe, or somewhere else? Who reported Dustin missing? Was the Interstate 17 and Dugas location found from his cell phone data? The news article in Post #1 doesn't mention a vehicle, so how was Dustin traveling?

And i would really like to know why the other missing man who has since been located was seen carrying a shovel? Thats so creepy!

carrying a shovel while hiking is not that weird. People still try to mine in that area, or you might use it to bury your poop, or to dig a hole to lay in, or stake your tent pole in. I assumed (shame on me) it was a small, foldable type recommended for hiking.

I've carried a small shovel while hiking the Cascades when I grew up out there. So far as we know, the two men are not related. One went missing hiking, the other just went missing.

He is on trial for Aggravated DUI charges from May 2019. There have been hearings in February and March and there has been no mention that he has failed to appear, no arrest warrants for failure to appear, so I assume he was present for those hearings.
