Hi all! I'm way behind with this case since I just learned of it when Nancy's show came on tonight. What kind of "mother" would text the baby's dad the baby was dead & in a dumpster and be joking? What kind of "mother" would just leave the baby with strangers at a park or campground but think the baby's better off than with his dad? I'm not seeing anything so far where the dad was abusive but instead it seems she is the one who trashed their apartment including the baby crib. I really hope Gabriel is safe but I have a sick feeling he's not and the text really wasn't a joke. :furious: MOO

My guess is that she might have flown and somehow stumbled into some untraceable cash to finance it. Or there is a rental car involved but not in her name. Still interested in the Nashville reference from this afternoon. TPS would have business connections in San Antonio and Nashville. She also studied in Juno Beach Florida which is not far from Miami.

I think EJ is totally lying in that interview. Something about the inflection in her voice sounds just like Casey Anthony to me. A strange couple approaching HER in a park and she ends up giving her baby to them is ridiculous. Plus she had a couple back in Arizonia that wanted to adopt Gabriel and she knew them. Ridiculous!

And TPS says in the Fox interview that she wishes she could still have the baby, but she doesn't think that's going to happen now. What ? This child is missing and she's still worried about getting this baby ?

I'm holding out hope that she saw him as her meal ticket and therefore would not have harmed him. For some reason, the Smith's belief that he is alive gives me hope. But if that "deal" fell through and she was left with baby and nowhere to leave him....well I don't want to think about that.

The homes around the area of the hotels she stayed at are magnificent. The homes around the area of the park are less than desirable. The San Antonio Int'l airport is just 11 miles up the Interstate from the Hotels.

About the car, did they say the Motel 6 is where Eliz told Tammi it was? I didn't quite follow that.

I'm surprised that the car wasn't found sooner actually considering the whole town should have been on the lookout for it. Is it possible that this is actually where the handoff took place and someone gave her another car to get to Florida?
