Oh she could twist it into something like this couple must have been out looking for a baby. No, I don't believe a word she says either because she's already come up with too many stories. MOO

Based on Elizabeth's initial meeting with TPS your 'twist' would seem like a plausible explanantion to her.

Per TPS
"I looked at that situation and said, 'She doesn't want that baby,'" Smith said, before walking over to Johnson and asking her if she was looking for someone to adopt her child.

Gee, that's the first thing I'd think to say if I met a tired young mom at the airport. I feel just like my kitty with the Rubik's cube.

Ok yall, I'm gonna hit the hay.

I hope when I wake up in the morning I see FOUND SAFE
in front of this thread name.
I have to do the same...it's late! And I also pray Gabriel is found safe. :prayer:

Ok, First EJ says that she met this nice couple @ a park and decided that they should have her child NOW she (per the Smiths) say that she found a loving family in the San Antonio area, spend a few days with them and decided to leave Gabriel there.

Thanks for the link. The article states the car was found at a Motel 6 across from a Tornado bus station off of Interstate 35. I would think Dec. 27th to Dec. 30th would be a bus ride from San Antonio to Miami.

Spent a few days with them but doesn't know their names? or where they live? or their phone number?

I guess over the course of those few days they were having such a great time, they forgot all about introductions!

Methinks the Smiths have some mistruthafication problems.

My first thought might be "that woman doesn't deserve that baby" if she appeared to be short tempered or abusive toward the child, but I wouldn't approach her and ask if she was looking for someone to adopt him. Very bizarre! MOO

"We were the duped family between him and her and their problems," Smith said.

OH PUHLEASE!!!! She is the one who is helping to dupe everyone.

You know LE must be listening to all these phone calls EJ is making from jail. I'm guessing she doesn't have a lawyer.

It sounds like she was just running away and Miami Beach sounded like a good place to start over as a single woman without a baby ~ and just about as far away from Arizona as she could get and still hang out in the warm weather. MOO

I think EJ is totally lying in that interview. Something about the inflection in her voice sounds just like Casey Anthony to me. A strange couple approaching HER in a park and she ends up giving her baby to them is ridiculous. Plus she had a couple back in Arizonia that wanted to adopt Gabriel and she knew them. Ridiculous!

And IMO, the newest story about the adoption is merely her attempt at avoiding murder charges. I think the original story she told the dad was the truth and she killed the baby to get back at him. I hope they hang her high.

One good thing about Florida is....Sunshine laws...

I think she seems like Casey...and Trenton Duckett's unfit mom

with a bit of the "accused" Tina Mercer thrown in

now...let's see what boo hoo stories we are bound to hear

post partum depression...bad childhood...adhd....bipolar...off her meds....ate too many twinkies....didn't get a pony for Christmas when she was 6 years old

and so on and so on

As if we didn't have enough sad/bad cases here in Florida...she had to come down here

I have noticed that before tho...just watch AMW....many of the east coast creeps are BOLO in their own state or "may be headed to Florida"...on the west coast they like the sun in California I think ....eeeks

Off topic..but I still remember that "serial killer" guy who came to Florida for the fun of south beach and to kill Gianni Versace!! So I am not all that surprised that this momster found her way here

BTW....a "hostel" is a youth hotel, inexpensive, usually shared dorms...did she talk to her roomies there?? What did she do here?? Wonder (SPECULATION) if next we might see some "party" pics of her on the beach or at the clubs on South Beach?? Who can forget Casey's party pics....gag me

It would not be much of a money trail if all she could afford was a hostel
we dont even have that many really, not like in Europe
in Florida they are often older hotels/motels converted to this

I'd think she'd have some court appointed attorney advising her since she's facing extradition.

OK now I really do have to say goodnight! :seeya:

O/T, it happened in my town.........
unmarried couple living together had a son about Gabriel's age.
Father had threatened mother with baby over and over.
It was Mother's Day ........I will never forget.
The baby was tossed dead out of the car at night, with a
Happy Mother's Day note on him.................
of course dad is in jail for life.

You would think! But yesterday in court she asked the judge what extradition meant. And today she has talked on the phone with the Smiths and the media.

Goodnight!

wth??!!????

And we are supposed to believe that? How absurd. I'm pretty sure that if I walked up to a tired mom and babe anywhere and asked that question I get the carp beat outta me. There is something wrong with that lady. Maybe she has that kid right now? Anyone check under her bed lately?

Sooo... Tammi in the airport... Cheryl in the park... wherever this girl goes, people are walking up to her and asking her to give them her baby... and she does!

Right...

Anyway... here's some more conflicting info to add to the mess...

Smith also she and her husband had temporary guardianship of the boy in late November and early December for about 10 to 12 days while the couple was deciding what to do.

A Tempe detective was at the Smith home when they took in Gabriel and saw paperwork on the matter, though spokesman Sgt. Steve Carbajal said it's unclear if there the documents had any authority since they weren't court-issued.

Gabriel went back to living with Johnson, and she and the boy's father broke up on Dec. 8. He left the home where they were living together, and the next day she called him at work to ask him to sign over his rights

Smith said "she doesn't want that baby", yet in the same breath talks about the abusive father and how EJ doesn't want the baby around him...which is it ?
