I agree! Walk in right now and one daughter has a Band-Aid on her finger because her tea set broke and sliced her finger and the other one has her shirt off because that's how she likes to roll. One has scabs on her forehead that she keeps picking at! It's life, people... And that boy wasn't thin, dirty... he was well cared for. And still is IMO. However, he needs to be home with his daddy!!!

Agree 100%

I think the toys and book on the bed (I think it's a board book, with the back cover up, my kids have several, I've seen them in every possible position) are brand new, especially the book. Did she buy him new toys, to help make the whole image more presentable to the new parents?
Did Tammi have her send a picture every day so that she could tell Elizabeth if there was anything she needed to do to make him more presentable? Why take tons of pictures of a child you are only going to give away? Why buy them new toys, why keep their clothes fresh?
Why bother to give them medicine at all, since he does look like he may have needed it in the floor pic with the pacifier? Just let them scream it out.
I want to know how this meshes with EJ's personality. Was she in the midst of a psychological attack of some kind?
The more pieces I see, the less of them seem to fit.

New toys/book to keep him occupied on the long drive to SA?

Pictures to remember him by?

Medicine to keep him from crying as much?

All 3 fit with either harming him or giving him away.

Here is my new theory, of sorts, this all MOO

Maby EJ is not the horrible terrible evil girl we think she is. yes she said some very disturbing things, not taking her side, just humor me. She is Bi-polar right? keep in mind, I have a limited knowlegde of this disorder, and a friends sister who has it. so maby when she tore everything up in the house, she was in her manic mode, and when reality hit, it scared her. Maybe it was not the first, since Gabe has been born. and I say maby it scared the Heck out of her. she loves this baby, and would be devastated if she hurt him in a manic fit(I do not know what they are called, feel free to correct me) The times she told dad to "take that baby with you" were times she felt she was in her manic state. or heading there.

and here comes TS, Whatever TS says sounds like a blessing. baby Gabe will be safe! Maby she really wanted to be with LM, and that is why she thought maby he would sign the papers. and she couldn't be with him, if Gabe was in his custody, because she was scared to be around him. TS Knew exactly what to say. whatever it was. Being bi-polar, is it possible to be so focused on 1 thing, that you lose touch with reality, or evrything else that may make sense? IDK for sure. but once EJ got the thought into her head, that adoption wuld be best, she was stuck on that. think about the reason a mother normally gives their child up, I have been there, some of you have adopted. it is a selfless thing, something done with love, no matter the pain on the birthmom.

or, not sure how this works with Bi-polar, but is possible to think others are "out to get you"?? if so, being EJ thinks LM "ruined her life" simple as her haveing a baby she loves but cannot raise, to thinking he may want to harm her. is it possible in this state, she thought maby she was running to "save baby gabe"?? I know manic states can sometimes last quite awhile, correct? and she went off her meds, so maby this was a sign that she was getting manic?

I think TS manipulated EJ, isn't there some law for taking advantage of the mentaly ill?? EJ may function normally, but if her emotions/mental state are played upon, I think this is serious. Maby in the end, EJ realized what TS was doing and ran? Everyone was out to get her and baby Gabe. They wanted to "take" him. true or not, she may have felt this, and it made it so, KWIM? AND NOBODY was going to just TAKE her baby!! she tried to take some sort of control, ran and handed baby Gabe off to a couple of her chooseing! And so goes her myspace status--- "TAKE THAT SUCKAS!!!!"

He just looks to cared for, IMOO. I mean if she did not want this baby AT ALL. why take such care to keep him clean and comfy??

feel free to poke holes in my theory, or tell me it is time to retire my WS hat! LOL

I feel the most evil is TS. EJ is second. Not by much. EJ felt trapped, found a suitable situation in which to free herself... that's why she's happy in jail. TS, because of their history of H, I feel is evil... under the Christian guise... the worst.

By looking at the websites, that appears to be the Homegate Fiesta Park not the one on San Pedro. The websites show two different rooms and furniture. Perhaps this mystery has finally been solved.

Actually the picture on the wall with the trees looks to be the same picture in the #5 pic here with Gabriel http://www.kpho.com/slideshow/news/22251950/detail.html

I was way behind on post #9. Bringing it over here.

Bouncing off your post here. The American Academy of Pediatrics has long since denounced the use of cold medicines in children under 6yrs old. This coming from a study by the FDA that cold medicines are not proven to be effective or safe for children under six. Now a days you can't even find baby cold medicine anymore. Everything is labeled/dosed for 6years and up.

http://www.ehow.com/facts_5642870_sh...medicine_.html

I'm even more afraid for Gabriel if EJ was giving him cold medicine. If that's the case (unless an RX from a peditrician) the medicine was likely intended for a much older child. Again, just a little tid bit to throw out there.

The baby had teething problems - she took him to the doctors (apparently) for medicine. They are in a motel room and she is taking pictures to remember him by. He is holding onto a bottle with a safety cap on.

It looks like Elizabeth really might have loved her baby boy - and maybe, just maybe she had postpartum depression. Things between Elizabeth and Logan were at times rocky, and now a baby comes in. Elizabeth has never dealt with her problems from her childhood (although, it looks very much like Logan was trying to help - he tried) - and as hard as it absolutely is, a loud-mouthed predator is at the door.

Really - I want everyone to take a step back - please give a little room - have a little compassion - Tammi is a predator who preys on susceptible young mothers to get their child.

I really don't care who is mad at me - these are my real feelings, and I am really crying right now visualizing what it was like in that motel room. My opinion is just that.

I agree 100% but why would someone drive almost 1000 miles just to kill a baby?

I've been trying to enlarge that and can't for the life of me see a white dog ...

looks to me like she has long dark hair, may be wearing a white or light-coloured dress and looks like she's holding a baby with dark hair?

http://www.kpho.com/slideshow/news/22251950/detail.html
On this link, the second pic, in the gold frame, is a lady with pretty long wavy auburn or brown hair, hugging a dog, all white. The first pic is smaller. She has on a pink or salmon blouse. It looks like in a back yard. Tammi had some pics of when she was younger with similar hair, but I can't see the face here that well. :)

So much of what you said makes sense to me. When I listened to her interview again today she really believed that she was doing the right thing. To her adoption was the right thing because she was told by others how great it was. It was almost like she was saying "why can all those other gals place their baby and I can't?" And who ever talked her into doing it must have said she could only do a "closed adoption", because she repeated that more then once and she stated in closed adoption you aren't suppose to know where they live. That is part of the meaning of closed adoption.

Aww, BeanE, you are one of my fave posters here, but you are killing me tonight. My gut tells me this baby is alive...then you put that little inkling of doubt in there! I HAVE to believe this time it's different.

And for what it's worth, you may be right, God may have taken action! Or, maybe LE has arrested her butt!

o/t but the FDA only recommended that for kids under two

http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm048682.htm

not that it matters in Gabe's case, since he was under two

I wish I could be as hopeful as everyone else :(
To me, he is well cared for in these pictures, very well cared for..
But then I think back to Caylee singing "You are my Sunshine" and now knowing that within 48 hours of that, possibly earlier, she is dead..
I still don't understand this mother's lack of cooperation with the authorities.
The damage was done and Logan was afraid...why keep it going..:waitasec:
The description of the couple was terrible. Unless the police release a photo of Gabriel with the couple, I guess it is easier to believe he is already gone than to hold hopes so high only for him to be found in a dumpster somewhere later.:(.
I am afraid for him, I am still afraid she done harm to him and refuses to cooperate because of knowing she will spend the rest of her life in prison..

If this is all true, and another couple has Gabriel, someone would have come forward..

I'm confused too. My first thought was that she wanted to spend her first and last Christmas with her baby. To me, he didn't look dirty or dangerously skinny like the babysitter described. I see pics of my grandson where he looks like the 'bad' pic of Gabe. It's soo hard to get a picture of that kid looking at the camera and when we do half the time he is closing his eyes. IMO, Tylenol along with baby orajel are almost staples at this age. Teething causes rashes, fevers, even runny noses which can lead to the blotchy cheeks in some babies. IDK if she bought the toys for him, but if she did, it doesn't fit that she'd kill him.

I do agree, Gabe looks well cared for.
Right now, I have a baby with baby food on her chin, chest, and somehow, her eyebrow. She's teething so her sleep schedule is all messed up, thus the reason that she's eating at midnight. She has three small scratches down her cheek because I didn't clip her nails yesterday.(Bad mommy on me. I'll admit, I forgot.)

If I were to walk upstairs, there would be a three year old with at least three different bruises and a big red circle around his mouth because he won't keep his tongue in his head and he chaps easily. (He's autistic, clumsy and plays hard.) I won't even factor in the two year old with a blood blister on his toe and rugburn on his forehead from his brother knocking him over with the door.

I am a pretty darn good mother, and admittedly, a snapshot of my kids right now would look really bad on my part. Gabe looks like he was being taken care of by someone that loves him...however, there is only one true thing that my mother ever said in her entire parenting career. "Worry about the kid in the pristine outfit, the one with the dirty face has at least had some fun." She had a point. There is a possibility that he was drugged a majority of the time, so it wasn't a big fight to keep him clean.

Not honestly the vibe I am getting though. She daresay, she might even have loved him, even on that last day, maybe she does believe she's doing what's right.

How long have TPS and Jack been baby crazy? Have they ever fostered? Like back when EJ was in state care...they know those records can not be made public. If there is a connection there it is safely sealed away.
Crazy idea: Did TPS start grooming her to breed them a baby a long time ago?
I know that's a nutty idea, but it goes to show that I can't make anything fit together right now.

Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster. Been waiting a few hours for approval of my new account at WS. Thanks so much for having me here.

Does anyone think it would be early for LM to consider retaining a civil litigation attorney and pursue the Smith's in civil court for intentional infliction of emotional distress and loss of consortionship of his minor child?

The looks on his face in the interviews I have seen IMO are not even close to how much he is suffering and how heartbroken he really must be.

From what I have seen, JS and TS don't seem to mind flaunting their assets on the web and TV and it seems that a civil judgment should be fairly easy to collect IMO.

:waitasec: How does one turn ON the slow motion on this board?

:waitasec: I haven't even gotten to the pictures yet. I certainly wasn't saying EJ definitely gave her child medicine she shouldn't have. Truth is, not everyone knows you can't easily purchase baby cold medicine anymore, that was the point of my post.

My ending is also how I feel and my opinion to where my knowledge of details were. I hope she wasn't medicating him with OTC cold medicine as that could prove fatal to a child Gabriel's age.

I'd like to be given a chance to catch up on a thread before being accused of being dispassionate to details I haven't had the chance to read yet. I did start off my post stating I was far behind.

All these pictures did for me is reinforce my belief that EJ did not physically hurt Gabriel, and that we are going to see him come home to his daddy.
I don't think anything in these EJ camera pictures was faked, she didn't plan on getting caught, she didn't plan on anyone seeing them, these were for her to remember Gabe by, and to me he looks great and well cared for in these pictures.

So... I am with you on this one.
