Teething.

mom, do you think a Dr. would prescribe Tylenol w/codeine for teething? Maybe, but that would shock me, at least the codeine part anyway.

IDK, my children are grown, but I have 5 grandkiddos ages 8 mths-10 yrs and I've never seen that. When my oldest child was a baby, (ok, I'm old, but somehow once you get to 52, it just doesn't seem as old anymore, lol.) the Dr. prescribed paregoric (sp?) for just about everything from teething to a fussy baby. Even at my age then (16) I was extremely careful with that stuff and by the time my daughter came along 4 yrs later, you couldn't even get it anymore.

On a side note~About a yr or so ago I was talking to my daughter (I think regarding Caylee) and I was shocked when she told me of the people that she knows that use benadryl on a VERY regular basis. She doesn't, but has friends that do. She is so fanatical about giving the correct dosage of anything that when I babysit she has to show me exactly which line on the cup is the proper amount. I'm glad she is that way, but I think she forgets that I was the mom of little ones at one time! ;)

Wonder why if she was going to kill him why have a sitter? Why not just drug him? Ugh,hate writing that.

Maybe she didn't plan to kill him, but either did so accidentally (overdose, maybe) or in a sudden fit of rage.

Perhaps the adoptive couple lives in the general direction of Victoria, maybe she just drove out to take a quick look to see exactly where Gabriel would be living. I know that really doesn't line up with the fact that she didn't want to see the Smith's home and didn't want to know where they lived but it could be the reason for the pings near Victoria. There are many farms and ranches and out of the way country roads between SA and Victoria, wide expanses of sparsely populated land, mostly farm and ranch land.

I'm trying to remember back it was on a NG interview with TS and JS. And TS mentioned about Victoria . As the interview wound down, NG asked TS if she thoguht she knew where Gabriel could be and TS said Vicotria. That's when JS rolled his eyes over to her like to say "Hush Yo Mouth"....

The one thing that convinces me that the medicine bottle is not your standard infant Tylenol is the drowsy eye symbol on the label. Nothing could convince me more that the medicine bottle is indeed a prescription and not standard over the counter. My first though is it's Tylenol with Codeine.

still catching up... but tylenol with codeine has to be mixed by a pharmacist and comes in a labeled, standard prescription bottle with a prescription on it. And does not look like that. My daughter has had at least 10-12 prescriptions for codeine/tylenol.

Hi mamaeb! If you don't mind my asking, what was tylenol w/codeine prescribed for? and at what age? If you don't want to answer I totally understand, I'm just very curious AND surprised that Drs. prescribe that for babies. TIA!

I apologize if this is way off. I have been just doing a quick skim over before I get to the bus stop.
Did EJ get off of that bus with the book bag/diaper bag?
Maybe she did drug Gabriel to make him sleep, put him in the bag, and on the bus was someone to take the bag and Gabriel to wherever he was going.:waitasec:

I keep trying to remember to post about this and I keep forgetting. So it's a little off our current discussion topics.

But did anyone else catch that some of the pics of Gabe in the hotel, (the one on the bed), there are multiple toys for Gabe? The babysitter (who I had a bad feeling about the first minute she opened her mouth) said there was NOTHING there for Gabe to play with except a "rattle kind of thing". Hmmmm!!!!!!!!

Okay, more hinkiness:

When I do a reverse phone lookup for Tempe PD number, which is listed on the Baby Gabriel FB page, it comes up as this:

http://www.whitepages.com/search/ReversePhone?full_phone=(480)+350-8311

When I do a reverse phone lookup for the number on Tammi's "Gabriel" page, it comes up with this:

http://www.whitepages.com/search/ReversePhone?full_phone=480-858-6424+

You can type in your cell number to find out who this number belongs to, but I have no idea how much it will charge my cell phone and to be honest, I can't afford to find out.

she had cancer twice at one years old as well as 2 surgeries as an infant on her eyes.

She had other meds as well for other symptoms...but codeine and anti nausea meds were the main ones she had other than chemo.
Also, to me, that looks just like a standard infant tylenol bottle.. and the yellow part is on them.. I think what people are saying is a picture of an eye is really the arrow shown in the other picture.

Are we sure there was a ping in Victoria? I know LE's wording was vague about it. They at least said EJ did not go to Victoria. Am I remembering this correctly?

Hi SuziQ.. Glad to 'see' you here! This case sure needs some of your investigative skills! So very sad, with shades of an even more evil KC written all over it IMHO.

I did...I've been looking at those pictures over and over. He has (3) different jammies on...(1) with reindeers, one with some santa's and I can't remember the other. So I am only assuming that's 3 days worth of jammies around Christmas. Also, he had different pacifier in one photo....And look at his little bittie so cute fat fingers around the tylenol bottle. Which leads me to believe the fact the sitter said he looked thin doesn't jive...I'm still not to hip on her story....

Oh my goodness, how scary. You 2 have been through So Much it sounds like. (((HUGS))) to you both chica! It sounds like things are going well now?

Thanks for answering too, as it sounds like she had to have something pretty strong. I have to imagine there is a limit as to what a baby can take at that age. At least at home anyway, of course in the hospital usually more can be used.

How about if someone calls the Tempe PD and asks if this number has anything to do with a Detective there?

Just wondering since 'H' is 4 years old, does anyone think this is something Elizabeth got from Tammi?

Not sure, I would suppose it would depend on what Kind of medication it is. If remember right, when my 4 y/o had to have surgery to extract a tooth, they prescibed him tylenol with codeine, it was a clear liquid, and in a brown bottle? maybe just the regular small prescription bottle for liquids.

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

That's AWESOME!

You go through something like that and it changes your whole perspective doesn't it? I haven't been in your shoes, but the places I have been I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. That said, I never, ever take for granted that my children will be here the next day. As sobering a thought as that is, if I hadn't had to go through the dark times, I truly don't believe that my relationships w my children or grandchildren would be what it is, had the dark times not happened ....does that make any sense, lol?!
